"So what're you here for?"
Meji's brother, Hoseok, took a seat on the floor, opposite from the bed you slept upon.
"Huh?"
A look of pure confusion crossed over your features, eyes staring at him in wonder.
"I've known Yoongi for a very, very long time. He only contacts me and Meji unless he needs someone to confide in."
You suppressed a heartless chuckle. Of course he would know, this was Yoongi's best friend. There's nothing he doesn't know.
"You must know already then."
He gave a shrug, his eyes focused on you, who looked away in a distressed filled huff.
"Maybe I do."
You tossed him a quick glare, making him smile back at you.
"So then why do ask?"
He crossed his arms, leaving back against the wall.
"I want to hear it from you."
A moment of silence passed through the air. You refused to look at him, keeping your lips pursed, voicing your unwillingness to answer verbally.
"Think of it as..." Hoseok trailed off, his eyes looking up at the ceiling as he thought, chewing his bottom lip.
"A confession." His eyes cane back to rest on you, a neutral smile forming on his lips once more.
"Confession?" You looked at him again, an eyebrow raised in question,
"To what? God?"
He nodded and you scoffed, a bitter smile coming on your face.
"Yeah, okay. And what're you? An angel?"
A cold reply cane from your lips, and Hoseok only closed his eyes, smiling wider.
"Of course."
Your eyes narrowed into a harsh glare. You studied him, but his eyes were closed and a bright smile possessed his features, making your shoulders slump in defeat after a few minutes of a challenging silence.
"Whatever.."
He opened his eyes, face now dripping into a serious expression.
"So?"
You closed your eyes and breathed out a sigh, head dropping to your lap. Your gaze was only maintained to your lap, legs crossed under the plush covers.
Your vision turned blurry, tears forming as you formed words narrating your actions in your head.
A moment passed. A tear dropped down to the blanket, making a darker shade where it landed as it was soaked into the fabric.
"I'm.."
He studied you carefully,
"A cheater.."
You forced out with a crack in your voice.
"I know."
The response caused you to drop your head into the blankets and let out a sob.
