Workin' on another AU for Mao Mao, but this time they live in a post-apocalyptic world.
I need help with Mao Mao's design, can y'all give me suggestions for what Mao Mao would have or be missing if he lived in a post apocalyptic world? Design wise, I mean-

Here's what the world's like for reference:

It's barren, most of the life has been reduced to nothing but ashes and skeletons.
Creatures have begun to appear, killing anything and everything that lives or moves on sight.
These creatures have parasites attached to them that cling onto their victims, taking control of their bodies and using them to lure in more victims.
They have no goal other than to make this world their new home, destroying anything that they see as a potential threat.
Pure Heart Valley is no longer anything other than an abandoned kingdom in major ruins.
Any cut or exposed wounds you have has to be covered up the second you get it; infections spread easier than ever before with a lack of proper materials anymore.
You can't trust anyone.
Trust is a very difficult thing in this world; trusting someone could ultimately cause your demise.
You can get sick just by touching something that seems even the tiniest bit off; even the water is unsafe to touch.
Diseases are spread from the creatures, which can also lead to zombie-esc side effects.
Getting a disease spread from the hell-spawn creatures could result in side effects such as:
• Constant Starvation
• Intense Mood Swings
• Wounds Appearing Out of Nowhere
• Very Sensitive Skin
• Sudden Outbursts of Unexplained Rage
And more.
The diseases are spreadable and can very easily be picked up by anyone.
Anyone with a disease is to be killed instantly; preferably with a gun of some sort.
Blood of the infected can be highly dangerous if not taken care of quickly and properly.
There is no getting rid of these monsters; not for a couple million years.
The best you can do is to survive.
Survive and try not to die unless it's by your own causes.
If you are in a group and someone dies: they are to be buried at least 8 feet underground; otherwise, they will be easier to dig up by the infected.
If you think you're going to die or are currently dying; there is no hope for you. Sorry for the inconvenience. Your body will be found and taken over by the infection at some point. There is no preventing it unless there is someone else to bury you.
Less likely to survive alone, but it's harder to find anyone to accompany you.
Trust is no longer reliable.
Nobody is reliable anymore.
