Another OC

This is Ruby, he goes with Black Diamond

Ruby used to be one of the crystals that got trapped by humans.
He had a sister and in order to protect her, he made a deal with the guy who was holding them captive saying that he would do anything he wanted and in return, his sister would be left alone.
Usually, Ruby was forced to kill the other rubies that were trapped there. He was forced to harvest the others only because the man enjoyed his suffering.
A few years go by and his sister slips into a coma after tripping and falling on the hard concrete floor. She chipped a bit of her head and Ruby is unable to get medical help for her because humans don't do that for crystals, and the other rubies refuse to help him because all they see of him is a selfish monster.
A month or so goes by and his sister is still in the coma, but somebody's come to free them.
This is how Ruby meets Black Diamond.
Black is fighting to free as many of the rubies as he can, and Ruby happens to get out.
The man realizes that Ruby has broken the deal, and he's able to get to Ruby's sister before Black Diamond or Ruby can get to her.
Ruby's sister dies, Black Diamond is able to free the others (including Ruby), and Ruby decides to join Black Diamond in freeing other crystals for the sake of revenge and making sure nothing like this happens again to anybody.
Ruby is very fond of Black Diamond, feeling as though he owes his life to Black because he saved him.
He really, really, really likes Black, but he's too scared to say anything.
Black knows that Ruby's really fond of him, but he doesn't realize just how much Ruby likes him.
After Ruby joined Black, he ended up with his weapons being a gun and a dagger.
Ruby is a bit overprotective of the people he loves, especially after what happened to his sister.
Sometimes he'll have memories of what happened when he was trapped, but he tries his hardest not to think about it.
He sometimes does things without thinking it through if he's put under stress.
He admires how strong Black Diamond is, even if Black didn't have to practice or anything to be that strong.
If Ruby sees Black having a hard time, he's the first one to notice and always the first one to step in.
Black considers Ruby to be his closest friend.
