Why say "You are my best friend" when it's really not?
Why state "You're the one" when someone else is the one?
Why say "I like you" when you don't?
Some even say "Glad to meet you" when they are really feeling otherwise
And tell "see you soon" while hoping the other way around
Why? Why? Why?
Do they play pretending games?
Or else,
Pretence is what they really are.
