"Crap crap crap!" I exclaimed as I started running. I ran after Katniss, thinking it was the only logical thing to do. Id be fine wherever she was. I knew the book and I knew what was about to happen.

When I reached the tree, she was kneeling, looking at Beetee. I realized this was my chance. I never knew what happened to Peeta between the time he and Katniss got separated, and when she shot that arrow at the ceiling.

I started running towards the direction that I knew Finnick was coming. I dashed past him, not caring about being seen. Katniss already proved that I was invisible to them.

I only had a few seconds to find Peeta before she shoots that arrow. I searched frantically for him, jogging at an even pace. I had just heard a scream when I heard Finnick yell at Katniss. Disappointment flooded my system. I hadn't found him. As soon as the disappointment came, determination replaced it. I was going to come back. I just had to figure out how.

I heard the lightening crash and started panicking. That didnt give me much time to get out of here. An idea came to me. I ran as hard as I could to the place that I started at. The book was still there. I picked it up and sat in exactly the same place. I closed my eyes tight and held the book close to my chest. I began to concentrate as hard as I could on my bed and my room. That same weird sensation came over me and seconds later, I felt that suffocating air be replaced with cool, perfumed air. I slightly opened one eye and to my relief, I was in my own room.

"Yes! It worked!" I exclaimed to myself. I quickly slapped a hand across my mouth, waiting to see if anyone heard me. No one came running so I assumed it was safe.

I brought my hand down and breathed a sigh of relief. My nerves tingled with excitement. I'm pretty sure I had found the solution to one of my problems.

I looked up as Katniss and Peeta came back into my room, followed by the others. Before they could say a word, I jumped off my bed and placed my hand in the air to silence them.

"Hold that thought," I rushed. I ran out of my room and went straight to where the Maze Runner fandom was. I found Symphony deeply engaged in a conversation with Minho. I hated to disturb her, but this was important. Like really important.

"Hi! Can I borrow her? Thanks!" I grabbed her arm and dragged her into the hallway.

"Girl what is going on? Your excitement is radiating off of you like the sun off of metal!" Symphony exclaimed. She grabbed ahold of me to stop my jumping up and down.

I looked at her and grinned. "Symph, I figured it out!" I yelled. I wriggled out of her grasp and made my way into my room, her following.

"You figured what out?" she asked confused. I turned to look at her. I was so excited I was about to pull my hair out.

I grabbed ahold of her arms. "Symph I just book traveled!"

"Book traveled? What the crap is that?" she asked, her eyes wide. I could tell she was all sorts of confusion now.

"Instead of time traveling, I book traveled! I was reading the ending of Catching Fire and I felt super weird. Like the air was humid and I was sweating like a fat man going for a jog. A drop of sweat landed on my page and when I touched the page to wipe it off, I got this weird sensation come over me. Everything intensified and when I looked up, in was in the arena! I don't know how it all happened, but I saw Katniss. She ran right past and didn't even see me. I saw Finnick and again he didnt even give me the time of day. I was trying to find Peeta, but I ran out of time. I came back here by going to the same exact place I started from and concentrating on home," I explained, my hands flying everywhere at once.

Symphony took a step back. She knew how worked up I could get. I almost punched her one time. My bad.

"Holy crap! Dude do you know what this means?! You could go anywhere just by touching a page in the book!" my best friend exclaimed.

I nodded my head enthusiastically. My wheels were turning. "I want to do something, but this time I want you to come with me," I said, letting go of her.

I turned to grab the book that laid on my bed. When I turned back around, she had a look on her face that could only be described as pure ecstatic excitement. "What do you need me to do?" she asked, reaching her hands out towards the book.

"I want to go back into the book. This time where Katniss and Johanna leave the others by the lightening tree. I have to figure out what happens to Peeta," I explained. I held out half of the book for her to hold on to. "I need you to come with me. Four eyes are better than two. You might see something I don't, and you can help me figure out what to do. And well you're my best friend. It wouldnt be the same without you.

She grinned. "I wouldn't miss this for anything."

I returned her grin and opened the book I turned to the page I was at before and took a deep breath. I paused, trying to calm every nerve in my being.

"Do you think Im insane?" I asked, looking at her.

"Girl, youre always insane. Besides, sanity is overrated," she answered winking.

I let out a laugh and nodded my head in agreement. "Okay, we have to touch it at the same. On the count of three. 1..2..3."

I took a deep breath. Simultaneously, we touched the page and closed our eyes.

Nothing happened.
