"Shit." I mumbled. "What?" The man asked. I grabbed his hand and dragged him into the nearest place, just so happened to be a club.
He then pulled me to the dance floor. I watched the door as he grinded on me. John stepped through the door. What the hell?! I thought. John made eye contact with me. I quickly whipped around so he was facing my back.
I felt the man I was dancing with turn around, I did the same unable to see past him, all I knew was he hit the floor. John now stood in front of me.
"Oh shit." I mumbled. "Yeah, happy to see me?" he asked. "John I-" "I know." he cur me off "you're a teenager. I'm an idiot." He said tossing his hands in the air hysterically. Tears threatened to fall from both of our eyes. He laughed hysterically. "To think you would change! To think you would only look at me!" John yelled over the music.
"That was dumb!" He yelled.
A tear fell from his eye. He quickly wiped it with his hand. "Have fun!" He shouted, he turned and headed for the door. I chased him, my vision now blurry with tears.
I grabbed his arm once we were outside.
"Can we talk, please." I begged. "What's there to talk about?" He asked. "Why were you even at the bar?" I questioned. " I was gonna get you something, to numb the pain!" His voice rouse. "I didn't mean to hurt you." I said. "No, no one ever, means to hurt someone. It just happens. Doesn't it." He said. He voice was shaky and unsteady. "John, please-" I tried. "I gave you a chance. You said no lies. No more secrets." He reminded. "I didn't lie." I told him. "Oh, that's right, you just ran off with another man. I get it, much more understandable." He said sarcastically. Another tear fell from my eye.
"Don't cry." He said. " You're hearts not broken. " he took a shaky breath. "For you, there are plenty of men, and lads out there." He said. "But for me there aren't a many fish in the pond. You've got your whole life to live. Don't let a guy like me hold you back. So go. Leave." He finished. Tears ran down my cheeks. "John!" I cried.
"Fine, I'll go." He said, he turned and walked down the street occasionally reaching his hand to face to wipe away the few tears that had fallen.
I walked to a coffee shop and ordered some food before balling at a random table.
