The ride to Gina's house was silent and awkward. What do you say to two teenage girls when you've been living with three boys for the past 19 years?
Harley and Logan were shy yet curious. Who are the boys she was talking about? Harley wanted to ask but Logan kept stopping her, afraid of the outcome.
When they arrived they were quite shocked. The way Gina dressed suggested that she was a very high classed woman but her house stated that she was a regular working woman but with a love for gardening.
"Welcome to the Brooks' house girls," Gina smiled warmly as she unlocked the front door, pushing it open wide enough for the girls' bags to fit through. "I hope you enjoy your stay here."
Harley turned around to Gina who had ventured into the kitchen. "You have a lovely home Ms Broo-"
"Gina," she cut Harley off. "Just Gina."
Harley flushed a deep red and looked down at her shoes. "Sorry, Gina."
"And thank you, I work very hard on the house. Living with three teen-aged boys is hard," Gina finished with a tired laugh. She had been up quite sometime setting up the house and was extremely excited about having girls over for once.
"I don't mean to sound rude but where will we be staying?" Logan gripped onto her bags.
"I picked out a lovely spot on the ground for you," Gina walked over to the living room and gestured to the floor. Harley and Logan just stared at it, "I'm kidding," she laughed as she started walking down a corridor.
Harley joined in with her laughter and quickly followed her to their room leaving Logan to herself.
"Ok, this is your room. I'd love for you to have your own but we don't have enough space." Harley walked inside, slowly followed by Logan. They'd never shared a room before and don't really want to start now. "I don't really know how you're feeling at the moment seen as though I haven't been though this so I'm just going to leave you to get settled," Gina gave the girls a smile before walking out of the room, closing the door behind her.
"We're going to have to sort something out," Logan sighed.
"What do you mean?" Harley raised an eyebrow.
"I can't share a room with you."
"What? Why?"
"Because you're too clean! You have like OCD or something."
"I'm so clean because I've been cleaning up after you all of my life! You never tidy up anything!" Harley didn't even realise how loud she was being.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I've never noticed seen as though you tidy it all before I can even look!" Logan raised her voice.
"So, you've never noticed me tidying up because I tidied it up? That doesn't even make fucking sense!"
"Fück you, Harley," Logan stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her. Harley hesitated but eventually followed after her as she ran out of the front door.
-
"You've been walking for ages, can you please just stop?" Harley groaned as she pulled her body down the street.
"Just go home," Logan yelled to Harley without even turning around to look at her.
"You're being pathetic."
"It's not my fault tha-" Logan was cut off by yelling. Guys' yelling to be specific. He sounded like he was in pain and it was coming from the ally. This time Harley didn't hesitate, she ran straight through, "Hello?" she yelled hoping to get a response.
