It was about two in the afternoon when Harley decided to make pancakes. Logan wasn't awake yet, sometimes Harley has to convince herself that she isn't a vampire.
"What'ya doing?" Harley jumped at the sound of Lukes voice behind her as she spun around.
"Holy Jesus Christ," she put her hand on her chest, "You scared the crap out of me."
"Sorry." He grinned, clearly not caring about scaring her.
"Yeah, you will be." Harley turned around and carried on flipping the pancake.
"What's that suppose to mean?" He appeared directly beside her, watching what she was doing.
"I don't even know."
"You're gonna drop it." He leaned against the counter.
"I am not," Harley tried her best to act hurt but ended up laughing when the pancake fell to the ground, "Ok, you jinxed it." They both just stared at it, laughing.
"Step aside, let the pro handle this." Luke grabbed the pan and started to make a new pancake. As he did, Harley decided to clean up the pancake on the floor but was stopped by Jai.
"No, don't throw it away." Jai grabbed a plate and put the pancake onto it.
"Jai, it's been on the floor." Harley sighed.
"Yes I know, I saw you drop it." He grabbed some syrup.
"So, you can't eat it. That's gross."
"I'm not going to eat it." He shook his head slightly.
"Well, what are you going to do with it?" Harley furrowed her eyebrows.
"I'm gonna see if Beau's hungry." Jai grinned at Luke before walking upstairs to wherever Beau's room is.
Harley just bit down on her lip as she walked back over to Luke, who was staring at yet another pancake on the floor.
"I didn't do it." He put the pan down and picked up the pancake, putting it on his face.
"Ok, we're gonna get this right, even if it takes all day." Harley sighed as she started making another pancake.

After about eleven more attempts Harley had finally made a pancake without dropping it, but Luke stole it before she even had a bite.
"You're a terrible cook." He had a disgusted look on his face.
"Fück you." Harley hit him with a tea towel.
"Oh, you're gonna regret that." He grabbed hold of it and started spinning it in his hands. Harley grabbed another one out of the drawer for defence but it was too late, he hit the bottom of her back with the towel and laughed as she yelped. She tried hitting him back but failed every time.
"Will you two just shut up!" Logan shouted from the living room.
"You shut up!" Harley shouted back at her.
"Great come back, seriously, I'm so hurt," Logan replied sarcastically as she trudged into the kitchen. She stared at Luke weirdly. He was just about to hit Harley with the towel. "What are you doing? And what is that?" She asked looking at the poorly cooked pancake.
"A pancake," Harley grinned, straightening the plate.
"I thought you could cook?" Logan asked confused looking up from the sludge to her offended sister.
Harley blushed and looked behind her at Luke who, in return, winked at her. "I, uh, got distracted."
Logan scoffed at their flirty looks and sat at the little island in the middle of the kitchen. "Well get undistracted, hungry I am," She said, not realising what she had just muttered.
