Trevor's POV
I sat next to Shannon and I held her hand. She put her head on my shoulder.
"Promise me you love me." She said.
I turned myself to face her.
"What?" I asked.
"Promise me....you love me." She said, looking away.
I cupped her chin in my hand and turned her to face me.
"Why would you even say that?" I asked.
"Just promise me." She said
"If corse I do." I said.
"Say that you promise it." She said.
"I promise. I love you more than all the grains of sand on the world. More than how many cups of water there are on earth. And more than the amount of stars in the galaxy. I love you Shannon, more than anything." I said.
She leaned into my chest and cried.
"Baby, please don't cry." I said, giving her a tight hug.
"I just... I-I love you s-so much, but I don't w-want to hurt you, with the d-decisions I have m-made...." She said.
I kissed the top of her head. "I will never be hurt, as long as you are happy." I said.
She nodded, and laid down.
"It's dark, get some rest." I said and kissed her forehead.
She yawned and fell asleep.
