As Boreal flew off, The Ice Emperor walked from the watchtower and back to his throne room, sitting down on his throne with a heavy breath and returning to his thoughts. After his takeover of The Never Realm, he would always find that no one would challenge him...Who could? He was considered all powerful for being an Elemental.
He committed genocide, froze multiple villages, created a dragon purely made of elemental ice, and above all, carried The Scepter Of Ice..
The Scepter Of Ice was a powerful weapon that could freeze an entire realm in mere seconds if used to its full potential. It was the weapon that plunged The Never Realm into eternal winter after the day The Ice Emperor returned to his throne...He still remembered that day...It was glorious...
According to his loyal adviser, General Vex. The Ice Emperor was overthrown by a powerful king known as King Grimfax, who was the one who had caused severe damage in his mind, erasing his memory of his previous ruling. But Vex saved him and brought him to a cave so he could take care of his master, who couldn't even remember his own name...
When The Ice Emperor awoke, he was...confused...Where was he? Who was he? Why couldn't he remember anything? What happened? But, only one his questions were answered when he saw a man in light brown robes and wearing a straw hat. "Hello?" He asked.
"Hello." The man replied, surprised by his sudden response.
The Ice Emperor looked at him, confused. Then he looked around at where he was...He seemed to be in some sort of cave. He turned back to the man. "I am sorry. Wh-where am I? Who are you?"
"Don't you remember?" He asked, but The Ice Emperor shook his head. "I am Vex." He replied.
The Ice Emperor gave Vex another confused look. "Are we... friends?"
Vex nodded. "Most certainly." He suddenly bowed before him, like a servant to a king. "I am your loyal adviser."
"But... who am I?"
Vex gave him a sympathetic look. "Oh, such a pity. You truly have forgotten. You're unwell, my Lord...but do not fear. I will take care of you. It is my sworn duty."
"Your duty?" He asked.
Vex nodded. "You are the Ice Emperor, the ruler of this realm!"
He went wide eyed. "I...I am?"
"Of course. Why look!" He suddenly walked up to a scepter with a blade and scroll on it. "Here is your scepter. The Scepter Of Ice. A weapon handed down from emperor to emperor." He handed it to his master.
The Ice Emperor grips it and then suddenly feels a surge of energy go through him...He felt like he had reached the level of a god in a second! "Is this... my home?"
Vex sighed sadly. "Alas, at the moment, yes. But it was not always. You were cast out of your proper home by warriors, who took it for themselves. But now that you are awake, perhaps we can reclaim it!"
The Ice Emperor looked at him again. "Would you advise me to do so?"
Vex smirked. "Most certainly."
Back at the castle of The Ice Emperor, some samurai are chatting happily, seemingly proud of themselves for 'taking over'...But then, their talks are interrupted by The Ice Emperor, who kicks down the door and slams the bottom of his scepter against the ground.
The leader of the samurai, King Grimfax looked at him, narrowing his eyes. "Who are you? What is the meaning of this?"
Vex suddenly stood next to his master. "Have you forgotten me so soon?"
Grimfax growled. "Vex, what do you want?"
The Ice Emperor gripped his staff, but he let his adviser speak. "Only to see justice done and my Lord return to his rightful throne!!" Vex said.
Grimfax walked down, grabbing his double bladed axe. "What Lord? This throne is mine!" He yelled.
The Ice Emperor stepped in front of Vex. "...Not anymore..."
"Guards! Throw them out!" Grimfax commanded.
The Samurai gripped their spears and then charged at The Ice Emperor. The Ice Emperor seemed to be amused and spun his scepter and slashed one in the face and then kicked them into the air, and then swatted him into another samurai. The two other Samurai clashed their spears with The Ice Emperor, but each attack they made was countered by every swing of The Ice Emperor's scepter. Finally, he pushed them away and then created a ball of ice in his hand and fired it at them.
Suddenly, their skin turned paler than snow and their eyes were a glowing blue...Then, ice slowly froze around their armor. The Ice Emperor pointed his scepter at the two other guards. "Take care of them." He commanded.
The Ice Samurai obeyed and jumped into the air, attacking the samurai with the ferocity of an animal. Then, more Ice Samurai ran out and charged at The Ice Emperor, swords, spears, and crossbows in their hands.
The Ice Emperor slammed the bottom of his staff against the ground, alerting The Ice Samurai he corrupted. "ATTACK!!!" He roared. The Samurai nodded and began to fight off the incoming Samurai of Grimfax. He then looked at the two samurai that were down and fired his corruption ice at them, turning them into his followers as well. The Samurai got up and ran into the fight as well.
Vex and The Ice Emperor laughed as the battle went on. Then The Ice Emperor kept firing his beam of corruption ice, hitting every single swordsman, archer, and samurai warrior...All of their skin turned pale and their eyes glowed blue.
Grimfax couldn't believe his eyes...What did he do? He shook his head and then jumped down, gripping his axe. "I am not surrendering The Never Realm to the likes of you!!!"
The Ice Emperor smirked and then charged at Grimfax, beginning to ferociously battle him. He rapidly swung the blade of his scepter into Grimfax's armor, being so fast that he didn't even give Grimfax a chance to block his attacks. Finally, The Ice Emperor kicked Grimfax to the ground...
Grimfax groaned in pain. "W...Who...Who are you..?"
The Ice Emperor snarled at Grimfax. "I am The Ice Emperor!! And you will obey!! OR PERISH!!!"
Grimfax didn't know what else to do, he couldn't surrender. He grabbed his axe again and charged at The Ice Emperor but was immediately turned like the rest of his samurai...But he still had his free will. "W-What did you do to me?!"
Vex laughed. "The Ice Emperor has turned you into his loyal slave, but you still have your own free will unlike The Ice Samurai..."
"But...Why?" Grimfax asked, feeling cold as ice.
The Ice Emperor smirked. "So you can remember every single moment of your failure...NOW BOW!!!" He commanded.
Grimfax knew he had no choice...He bowed before his new master, becoming loyal to The Ice Emperor.
"Well done, My Lord!" Vex cried. "You have reclaimed your throne and The Never Realm is yours to command once again!"
"...I have much work to be done." The Ice Emperor breathed.
Vex nodded. "But, perhaps...with a proper look." He showed his master an armory.
The Ice Emperor nodded and walked inside. There wasn't anything but gray or red samurai armor, and those were all armor he had cut through easily...But then he stopped when he saw an armor that caught his eyes. Samurai armor that was as white as snow. The Ice Emperor grinned and then put on his new armor, and the armor itself began to freeze at the touch of him...
Vex watched his master walk onto his throne and sit down, his scepter eventually freezing to his very hand. Vex walked up to him and stood beside The Ice Emperor. "What shall we do now?"
"...Let The Never Realm know their new leader..."
