Chapter 2

Once Aundrea let go off Dawn, Aundrea saw absence in her eyes. She knew something was up. She ushered Dawn in her home and they sat in the living room. Aundrea decided to find out whats going on with her friend.

" So, what's going on?" asked Aundrea

"Nothing," said Dawn twisting a strand of hair on her head. When Dawndid that she was lying.

"Really Dawn I know you're lying what's the matter, you know whatever it is I'm here for you."

Dawn smiled and looked at her best friend took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Drea, Que cheated on me with Aubrey. I can't believe him. Im mad at myself for believing that i could trust him now I'm pregnant by him. What am I gonna do?" Drea got up and gave Dawn a much needed hug.

"Dawn you know what you're gonna do, you're gonna move on and take care of this baby, if Que wants to see the baby let him. Don't stress cause it's bad for the baby. Imma help take care of it Dawn. You're gonna be OK."

*At Que's Apartment*

Aubrey was dressed and sitting Que's couch with a steak covering her eye. Dawn had her sporting new eyewear. Que was in his bedroom on the floor crying.

"Im so stupid man, this bitch wasn't even worth it.I want my Dawn back. I fucked up fucked up bad." He sat there and soaked in all his pain til he couldn't feel anymore. He got up went to check on Aubrey.

"Hey you OK?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little sore Dawn packs and mean punch for a pregnant woman."

Que managed to let out a small laugh. " Look Aubrey I think you should go, I just need some Que time to think ma."

She smiled, "I was about to go tell you I was leaving any way, I have a date with Donnie at 5." She got off the couch, gave Que a hug and left him standing there .

*Dawn*

Dawn shook her head in disbelief, "I love Que, but I can never get over this and my goodness, I'm having his child; Drea, what am I going to do? Lord help me, please!" she cries aloud. Aundrea grabbed a tissue and wiped her dear friend's bloodshot eyes, "Dawn, you are a strong woman and you know you can get though this, but I need to know what you want to do from this point right now because we have to make sure you are all right." Dawn jumps up in a fury, "I just want to kill him... and her, but why do I have to love him so much?" her face soaked in her salty tears. Drea crying too, "Dawn, I love you and we are going to get through this together, but what do you want to do..."

*Aubrey*

Aubrey sat in her customized Lexus and looked at herself in her MAC compact trying to cover the shiner that Dawn left on her tanned skin. "Ouch!" she says as she lightly pats the soft makeup puff near her eye. "What am I going to tell everyone about this? I can't let anyone see me like this!" she thinks. She grabs her cell phone and calls Donnie. Donnie picks up, "Let me, Take You There!" he says jokingly. Aubrey in a playful, sexy voice, "Hey sweet-ums, I can't make it tonight because I have something really important to discuss with the girls. We can reschedule for another night, okay..." She hung up with one push of her chipped, acrylic thumb, before he could ask her why or if he wanted to reschedule. She wanted to go back into Dawn and Que's apartment, but she knew that Que would probably tell her to leave and she couldn't have any man think she needed him. "I really messed up this time...Oh my God, Dawn!" She wanted to talk to someone, but she didn't want anyone to look at her as the Bad Girl. She picked up her cell phone again and hit speed-dial...
