Not so long ago a brave and mischievous mouse and a lucky rabbit worked together to go through the dangerous obstacles from the many earthquakes in Wasteland as The Mad Doctor attempts to conquer the forgotten world. With their choices, they made him their new ally and the quakes have ended. Wasteland was at peace once again thanks to our heroes.
Our new chapter begins when the seven years pass. The toons of Wasteland continue to live their happy lives. When a miracle with light and darkness shall occur. Our heroes Mickey and Oswald have been the best of pals, or as they like to call themselves brothers. They loved going on adventures and hanging out together just like many siblings do. However, they still have a mystery to solve after all those years, to find a certain missing gremlin.
Currently, the two were in Ostown, admiring the new statue of the both of them, back to back. It was shiny like their bright future, and represented their new relationship status. Hopefully, people would look upon it and be motivated to do their best!

Mickey circled around the statue, a huge grin on his face. "This is amazing! You even got the details on my tail!" Mickey looked over at the gremlin responsible for the statue. "Thanks a lot for this! I mean it."
"Mickey's right! You got a killer talent!" Oswald said as he looked towards the gremlin. "The fountain looks better than ever! We really owe ya one!"
The gremlin blushed, "Ah, don't mention it. I was just doing my job!" He looked over at the statue with pride in his eyes. "It's probably my best work yet! I take joy out of a good well done."
Mickey and Oswald smiled, happy to know that others were smiling as well. Mickey then stopped smiling as he looked over at the Gag Factory. Oswald noticed this, and placed his hand on Mickey's shoulder. The same thought in their head, along with the same regret with the memories of what happened to the previous caretaker of the factory.
"Still thinking about Prescott?" The gremlin asked. "It's been seven years. He probably ran off and exiled himself, or worse. He probably got himself thinned out..." The gremlin shrugged, and waved his hand like he was brushing off the thought. "Less trouble for us, at least."
Oswald shook his head. "I'd say it's more trouble. Especially when all the versions of Pete ran off as well! Not only that, but last we saw of Prescott, he was hypnotized!"
Mickey nodded in agreement. "It would be impossible for him to break out of jail, so that leaves that out of the question."
"Well, I'd hate to interrupt, but I need to get going." The gremlin got his tool box and headed to the factory. "If I was you two, I would give up. However, you're not really toons to give up, are you?"
Both of them shook their heads.
"I see. Well, I wish you the best of luck!"
"Take care!"

WSince the projectors were down, again, the town had to ride the train. It wasn't that bad, but it left some time to think. Perhaps, think too deeply.
