Zhao Yunlan and I went to a secluded part of Yunmeng and we started to train there. Since Zhao Yunlan doesn't know how to fight or defend himself we started off with the basics. Me of course being the one taking the lead.

The first basic skills I thought to Yunlan was very easy and I am impressed that he learned it quick. We then proceeded to the other techniques especially the defense techniques.

'You're a pretty quick learner Yunlan.' I praised my sweating lover who ignored me. He was taking a rest while I am doing push ups.

We took a rest for a while longer before resuming again. I thought Yunlan the things that I have learned in Hell as well as what Wangji taught me. The day ended with the two of us sweating so much.

I was resting on Yunlan's lap while he was playing with my hair. The gaze he gave me was full of love and something more. He lowered hid head and gently placed a kiss on my lips.

The kiss was gentle and soft at first but it became hard and aggressive. I was biting Yunlan's lower lip while he was sucking my upper lip. Moans escape our connected mouths.

We continued to make out I felt heat in my shoulders it was very painful. As the heat intensified I couldn't take it any longer. I gently pushed Yunlan away from me and what I saw shock me.

Zhao Yunlan's eyes were a glowing gold, on his back appeared two majestic wings a black one and a white one. He was breathtaking. The way he look at me made me feel more attracted to him than ever.

'Yunlan. What happened to you?' I asked him while trying to come near him. But as soon as I was about to make a skin contact with his right hand he suddenly took off. The speed of his sudden flight was incredible.

I quickly flew trying to catch up with him but he was too fast so I went to find Wangji and the others. A few minutes of flying and I finally found Wangji akong with the whole group chatting happily.

'Wangji!' I yelled as I dive down perfectly landing right in front of them.

'Shen Wei where's Zhao Yunlan?' Wei Wuxian asked me. He was looking around trying to find Zhao Yunlan.

'That's the problem! I think Zhao Yunlan finally got his powers. He became a nephilim earlier then he suddenly took off. I couldn't catch up to him since he was to fast for me.' I explained.

'Alright you guys stay here. Jiang Cheng, Jin Zixuan and I will look for him.' Wei Wuxian instructed us as his wings appeared.

'Wei Ying we want to help too.' Lan Wangji said while holding Wei Wuxian's hands.

'Lan Zhan you will be helping by staying here. You two don't know Yunmeng like we do and Xiao Xingchen will be staying along with Xue Yang.' With that Wei Wuxian let go of Wangji's hands and took off. The two followed him and we could only watch as the three of them disappeared from our sight.

'What did you feel when Zhao Yunlan unlock his nephilim side?' Xiao Xingchen asked me.

'Well the only thing I felt at that time side we were hugging was a very intense heat coming from Zhao Yunlan. The heat at time was not hurting me but soon it did. It felt like it was burning me to the core.' I remembered the feeling I felt at that exact moment that Zhao Yunlan became a nephilim.

'After feeling that I push Yunlan away and that's when I saw his nephilim side. The power that is radiating off him was so intense but it was nothing compared to Wei Wuxian's power.'

After that we all became silent. Since we cannot do anything we divided to train some more this time Wangji and I are partners while Xiao Xingchen and Xue Yang.

We kept training until finally the three came back with Zhao Yunlan who was struggling against Wei Wuxian powers that kept him stuck in a net like thing that's surrounding his body.

'We finally found him but he's still not in his right mind as of now.' Jin Zixuan explained.

Once they landed I can see the awe struck looks that the others have. He was truly breath taking. Wei Wuxian was standing near him and we could see something like a weird energy transferring happening between them.

'What's going on to you two?' Xiao Xingchen asked. He too was clearly puzzled with what is happening to Yunlan and Wei Wuxian.

My eyes remained glued onto Yunlan who clearly isn't in his old self yet.

'My powers are reacting to his which is weird. And what's more weird is that my powers became ten times stronger that what it used to be. It seems he and I are linked together which is weird.' I could see the puzzled looks the others now have on their faces.

'It's not weird my dear.' A angelic voice came from behind us said.

'Mom! What are you doing here?' Wei Wuxian said before going to her and giving her a hug.

'I'm here to visit A-Li. Now it's not weird because Zhao Yunlan's father is my brother. This makes you two cousins. And what's more to it is that before you were born their was a prophecy far older than what we have now.' She said and it makes us more confused.

'That prophecy is talking about you and Zhao Yunlan. You A-Xian who is strong and who's power is comparable to a god's and Zhao Yunlan who's power is a mix of good and bad. You both are far stronger when neat each other. It is like a bond between the two of you. If one dies the other weakens if not will also die.'

What she said shock me to the core. So if Zhao Yunlan dies Wei Wuxian will follow and if Wei Wuxian dies Zhao Yunlan will follow too. This makes things more complicated and also clearer.

Now I understand why the Demon King wants them both. It's because of the power they hold. It can either destroy or create. A power that every demon wants.

'This is also the reason why that Wen Ruohan wants you A-Xian. You are the one with the power to create life and destroy things. A powerful one that was destined for something great. Zhao Yunlan being a nephilim has the abilities of the four elements.'

We all silently listened to Wei Wuxian's mother. After her brief explanation everything became much more clearer to us now.

After listening to her I went to Zhao Yunlan who's still tied up. He was looking around with those beautiful golden eyes. I touch his cheeks gently making him relax. Soon the net disappeared and Zhao Yunlan immediately hugged me tight.

If hugs could kill I would have been dead with a few broken ribs and spine. His hug was too strong.

'Hey come on Yunlan let's test those new powers of yours.' I suggested which he returned with a slight nod. I spread my wings since I don't think Zhao Yunlan wants to let go of me just yet. I hugged him tight as I took flight, the strong wind made Zhao Yunlan's long hair fly around.

'Yunlan you won't see me properly if you keep on hugging me.' I manage to persuade him to let me go and when  he does I felt empty. But no matter, I still need to see how strong his abilities are so we can have some improvement.

'Let's go back to the place where we trained and see if you already unlock all your abilities.' I said as he followed me silently while our hands were intertwined.

This is one of the best days of my life. Me and Zhao Yunlan flying around while holding hands. It made me feel all giddy and warm inside.
