Hank sighed, parking the car and leaned back into the chair. He reaches up to his face and rubs it, groaning in tiredness and stress. It is midnight and the freezing temperature has run him down. The snow is piled up all across the house and the windows are covered with frost. The sidewalk isn't visible one bit and the trees look like the ground; white.

Connor looks over to Hank with soft eyes and rests his hand on his knee. Hank looks over and looks at Connor's soft, brown eyes. He sighs and nods, allowing Connor to do whatever. Connor just sits though, moving his hand to Hank's shoulder and rubbing slightly. It always worries Connor when Hank is stressed or for the most part, upset. It is normally rare for him if he isn't under the influence of alcohol.
After several minutes, Hank moves Connor's hand off and pats Connor's back. He then huffs and opens the car door, releasing a wave of cold into the car. They hurry inside and Connor puts the jackets away. Hank feeds Sumo and prepares dinner, like normal. Connor walks over and helps, like normal, until Hank suddenly hugs Connor. Connor is taken aback but leans into it, realizing why the Lieutenant was scared.

"Don't fucking die, Con. Your all I have left except Sumo," Hank sniffs, burying his face into Connor's shoulder.

" I won't, Hank. I promise." Connor replies, rubbing Hank's back.

Hank releases the hug and continues diner, which is just simple spaghetti and meatballs, nothing fancy.

After dinner, Hank glances over at Connor, who is sitting on the couch with Sumo. Connor feels Hank's presence and looks over at him. Hank chuckles and smiles a little.

"Fucking androids."
