'Stop drooling you idiot' I scolded myself. My eyes followed him as he walked towards the end of the cafeteria. "So you've seen them. I see." Jessica said. " Who are they?" I asked trying not to sound to curious. "They are Dr and Mrs Cullen's foster kids. They moved down from Alaska like a few years ago. They all are together. You know like together- together. Ok. That blonde girl, that's Rosalie. She is with the big guy called Emmett. Then that black pixie haired girl, that's Alice. She's really weird. She is with the blonde one called Jasper who looks l like he is always in pain. I'm not even sure if that's legal" she said. "Jess they are not actually related." The kind hearted girl Angela said. "Ya but they live together. It's weird." She said making a face. "So doctor Cullen is like this. Foster dad slash matchmaker." "You left the other one" I said trying to be casual. All of them were absolutely beautiful. It looked as if they weren't fit to be among us. Pale as a chalk. Black coal like eyes and purple bruises below them. They had not touched even a single item in their plates. The bell rang signalling end of the break. They went and dumped everything into the dustbin. "Hey Hermione lost somewhere?" "Ahh. No. Let's go." I said smiling. Here comes the biology class. I thought. Mr. Banner was already starting the class. "Ah Mr Newton" he wished Mike. " Mr Banner" he replied and went towards his seat. " Mrs. Granger, here I've got a seat for you right there besides Mr. Cullen and give that receipt to me, I'll sign it for you. " He said. I glanced towards the pale boy sitting near the window. The wheels in my started working. And I began to focus on Edward and his family. All of the siblings looked same in some way or the other even though they were not actually related. They were extremely pale which was unhealthy for a normal human. Edward's skin temperature was too low. He was as cold as ice. While thinking about this I remembered how my magic swivelled when I was around any of the Cullens. My magic always indicated danger when I was around them. When I started thinking about this my mind took off towards the Hogwarts library. I had read about such creatures somewhere. But I was not able to remember it. Hard, cold, pale skin, inhuman beauty, black eyes......
My eyes widened with shock. 'Holy mother of Merlin' they are bloody vampires!! My heart started beating fast, my palms turned sweaty and my face became pale. Edward turned to me and asked " Are you alright?" He looked genuinely concerned. Obviously he could hear my heartbeat. I was still in shock so I could only nod. I felt the same pressure on my mind which I had experienced during lunch. However the person couldn't reach my mind as I still had my occulmency walls on. Now it was Edward's turn to be shocked. His eyes widened but soon he masked his face with a smile. " Are you sure your fine. I could always take you to the infirmary. " Yes and kill me there. My sneaky voice said. Somehow I managed to swallow the lump in my throat and smile. " Yes I'm fine." Just then the bell rang signalling the end of period. I took my back and ran out of the class. I went to the office and gave my slip to Mrs Rossie. I ran from that office too and went to my car. I looked myself there and rushed towards my home. From the mirror I could see Edward's face looking at me with confusion. I had to go home and research about vampires. I had never heard of vampire family living among people.
