Edward's POV:I reached home and skipped towards the door with a face splitting grin. " Boy has gone crazy " Emmett thought. I just patted his head. "So when am I going to meet Hermione?" Alice said unexpectedly. I froze while all my family stared at me with confusion. "Alice" I hissed at her. "What it's not like you're gonna stay away from her. I would be very angry if you did that but you won't. You aren't strong enough to stay away from her." She said looking smug. "Can I know about whom and what you are talking about?" Esme asked gently. "Mom it's nothing" I said almost dismissing it. "Yeah it's nothing mum . Apparently our dear Edward Cullen has feelings for the most popular girl right now in this town." "What!!" Esme and I exclaimed. "Ohh drop the act Edward. Honestly I can read your emotions. Did you forget that? You act like a gangly teenager when you are around her." Jasper said. "I do not!" I disagreed. 'Falling for human again. How pathetic can he be?' Rosalie said in her mind. "Thanks Rose". I said glaring at her. " Mum she is really very sweet. She is intelligent, smart, funny, kind and not to forget she has excellent sense in fashion." I looked at Alice shocked. "What? It's not like I didn't observe her. Edward she is perfect. She makes you happy Edward and you deserve it." She said in a soothing voice 'Ohh Alice I love you' I said in mind. 'So do I big brother' she thought smiling. " Edward sweetie is this true?" Esme asked. There was no use of hiding now. " Yes mum. I do like her." " Ohh that's wonderful. " She exclaimed. " Should we invite her for dinner? Or wait should I plan something special for both of you? It would be good if it was just you two but I want to meet her. We need to introduce her to the family. She needs to feel welcomed. But first you need to tell me about her. What does she look like...... " Mum, mum hold on. I didn't say anything about that." "Oh come on Edward, you obviously like that girl a lot and according to your feelings I think you're going to fall for her soon. So why not do it now." I heard Carlisle saying. "Not you too" I said rolling my eyes.
A little while later, after Alice had quickly dropped the bombshell, Edward found himself the centre of one of the strangest conversations he ever had. His siblings were giving him pointers on how to seduce Hermione Granger properly. In other words, they were simply criticizing the way he'd seduced Bella Swan.
* AN: Even though I was planning not to add Bella I decided to have a plot twist. After Eclipse Bella couldn't choose between Edward and Jacob so she left Forks along with Charlie. It has been 2 years and Edward has finally moved on with the help of his siblings*
"I hope you'll at least change your seduction strategies." Rosalie remarked dryly. Oddly, he found that Rosalie was his staunchest support of a relationship with Hermione. Even if Carlisle had dismissed Alice vision of his later future with Hermione, Rosalie was surprisingly more optimist about the outcome of his future than the rest of his family. Including him. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You know the usual staring -" Jasper answered. "The annoying stalking -" Alice continued.
"The creepy watching her sleep -" Emmett added with a shrug. "And the endless refrain of 'I'm a soulless monster. Don't come near me!' It does get old after a few decades in your company," Rosalie quipped. "You must remember that Hermione is not Bella and she won't take that shit for anything romantic." "I must be really desperate if I am going to listen to your advice." I noted. So, as he sat in the living room listening to his siblings' ramblings, Edward could not help but smile at the prospect of being happy again and Edward did not doubt that he would be very happy with Hermione next to him. If he succeeded in winning the girl's heart, he would be happy again.
