ONE SEA: VICTOR

Victor's angelic wings folded behind him in a shimmer of black light on a sea splattered small outcrop of rock in a large rainstorm. The flames from crackling emberous leather jacket sputtered weakly in the brined spray and rain. The burning in his wrist was largely subsided, but suddenly flared up as a beam of moonlight crashed down behind him. Victor cursed, he really didn't want to see him again.

An elder man's voice echoed behind him almost drowned out by the waves: "This is where I will leave you."

A feminine voice, probably the feisty young girl he had unceremoniously kicked out of his door: "This is something you should do alone Max."

There was the sound of a gust of air as Maximilian's voice came over his shoulder: "Victor?"

Victor turned around: "You're late honey."

Maximilian's eyes narrowed: "Which Victor am I speaking to?"

Victor absentmindedly gesticulated around him: "There's only ever one of me Max."

Maximilian shook his head: "The Victor I knew would not have-"

Victor cut in: "Correction Max, there's one of me and I'm not standing in front of you."

The Victor in front of him flickered out and Maximilian felt a sharp burning searing slash across his back as a lash of flame slapped across his back and he was sent sprawling. Victor appeared behind him and stood with his sword out: "I told you not to follow me Max!"

Maximilian summoned Gram to his hand and winced as the cinders were doused with salted water sending shocks of pain flowing through Maximilian's back: "Victor! What did Loki do to you?"

Victor's eyes narrowed: "He didn't do anything." He growled: "I did!" And did a perfect flourish of his blade which shifted into a spear as he smacked Maximilian and sent him flying back skidding to the edge and his sword fell into the water. As Maximilian was slowly sliding Victor placed his leather booted foot on Maximilian's chest, applying just enough force to stabilise Maximilian at mild discomfort. Victor sneered: "I really wish I didn't meet you."

Maximilian strained to speak: "Thank Odin I found you then."

Victor's eyes widened as Maximilian slammed his fist into the ground as a wave of golden energy sent Victor stumbling back. Maximilian held his hand out to summon his sword as Victor's lips curled upwards: "Okay, fine smart guy, let's play." As his sword morphed into a large chainsaw. Victor charged forwards.

Gram jumped from the water into Maximilian's hand just in time for Maximilian to parry Victor's whirring saw. Within split seconds, Victor has transformed his sword into a scimitar and jabbed at Maximilian with precision the blonde didn't know the son of Loki had. Victor suddenly lashed out with a large prehensile reptilian tail from behind him as Victor turned into a dragon and slammed his tail down multiple times trying to hit Maximilian who ducked and rolled between his heavy strikes. Maximilian grunted, soaked with sea spray as his sword began to tingle with golden energy.

Victor snorted a large black cone of fire which fizzled out in the rain was pouring down. Roaring, Victor shapeshift back into human form with his black wings: "You see Maximilian? With Loki I have power to save the ones I care about. You wouldn't understand what I've had to do for that power."

Maximilian seemed to mutter under his breath: "And I thought I was what midgardians called cliche..."

Victor snickered as he spread his wings and countless images of himself spawned around Maximilian as they surged forwards.

Maximilian seemed to focus as he flung his sword in a wide circle, the moment the sword touched each illusion, the illusion Victor disappeared. When suddenly, Maximilian summoned the sword into his hand and spun around.

Plunging the sword into Victor's chest.
