Shuichi's POV
I awoke in sweat. I heard water running and seconds later felt a cool cloth touch my forehead. It gave myself a little relief to my pounding headache.
I heard people talking but could make any of it out. I felt sleep pull at me again and decided to allow it to take over me.
Kokichi's POV
"What are we gonna go when we get there?" I asked Kiibo who shrugged. "I can carry him if you get the bags" I remarked. Kiibo nodded and got up. "Where are you off to?" I questioned "to get some food for you" Kiibo answered walking out.
Kiibos POV
After everything is placed down somewhere thats when I will ask him. I had a plan but I needed to get others to help me. While walking to the kitchen I ran into rantaro. I jogged up "hey rantaro can I ask you something?" "You just did" "..." "..... yes Kiibo I was joking" he remarked.
"Ok! So Shuichi is sick and I need you to watch him after we land so I can take kokichi for a break" I said all in one breath. He nodded "sure.... good luck on the proposal" he remarked I was so confused as to how he knew. I didn't remember telling him. "Your a bad lier Kiibo" he remarked before walking away.
The sun hung above the horizon not quite setting but almost there. We had just gotten off the boat. Kokichi had Shuichi on his back. Shuichi was Out. His head and arms loosely hanging off of Kokichi's shoulders.
I put our stuff in a wing of a building that said V3 on the opening to it. Kokichi with rantaros help moved Shuichi onto the bed in his room. Rantaro and I made eye contact.
I walked over to kokichi. "Hey want to go look around the island. They said only danganrompa members are allowed here" I asked. Kokichi looked over at Shuichi I understood that he had the mindset of 'help them till they aren't sick'. Rantaro stepped forward "you two go have fun I've got Shuichi" he remarked. Kokichi nodded and we walked out with me.
When we were outside and pretty far from the building I picked kokichi up causing him to scream a bit. "I saw something cool on the way out here... it's a bit far away so let me carry you there" I stated. I really just wanted a reason to semi cuddle at the moment.
When I started the walk to our final destination. I saw the place and set kokichi down. He looked out at where we were. It was a cliff overlooking the ocean. The sky was a soft shade of pink now. "Wow Kiibo I'm glad you brought me out here" he said.
I pulled the sleek black box out of my pocket and walked over. I was able to hide the box in my palm. I grabbed his hand grabbing his attention.
Kokichi's POV
In a flash Kiibo was on one knee and held a little box up to me. He had his eyes shut. I felt myself tear up as I grabbed the ring box from his hand setting it gently on the ground beside us. He had stiffened when I did so.
I flung me arms around him fully allowing my tears to stream down my face. He gasped when I jumped on him. "So is that a yes?" "Yes Kiibo! Why wouldn't it be?!" I yelled tears streaming down my face.
I sat back in front of Kiibo. He put a hand over mine and held it up. I had practically started to sob I wasn't sad though. I had this overwhelming feeling of giddiness.
I felt the cold ring slide onto my finger. Kiibo also slid on the matching one. My ring was black with my name and then Kiibos engraved in white. Kiibos was pure white and have black engravings. "I had Miu make them I hope you like them" Kiibo states. We sat in a comfortable silence for a second before I flung myself back around him. He wrapped his arms around me. He laid down on his back.
We probably sat there for 20 minutes before one of us spoke. "Should we head back?" Kiibo asked me. I nodded wiping away the last of my tears.
The walk back was quite and I was kind of glad. I was scared that even hearing him would cause me to sob again. When we got there everyone was in the dining area as it would be time for diner.
Miu ran up to us "you better not have chickened our!" She snapped at Kiibo. Kiibo just moved our intertwined fingers into view. I felt my lip quiver before I started to cry again.
I was pulled over to a chair and Kiibo pulled me in for a hug. People were talking with Kiibo while I was sobbing.
Somebody had pulled Kiibo away at some point. "You good?" Rantaro jokingly asked while rubbing my back. "I- just can't b-believe he- he did that!" I sputtered out still crying. Rantaro laughed at my responce somebody else joined him in laughing.
When I managed to stop crying diner was over yet people were still there. I finally noticed Kiibo with Miu, Shuichi, Hajime, and Nagito sitting in the coner.
They were all talking. "Well kokichi you officially were the final person to learn about Kiibos plan" Rantaro jokes still patting my back. I laughed slightly then began wiping my face on my sweater.
"Wait Gonta no understand" Gonta stated from behind me. "Kiibo told Kokichi that he loved him so much he wanted to be together forever" Rantaro explained. "Ohh... Gonta happy for kokichi and Kiibo then" Gonta remarked and walked off. I patched onto rantaros shirt and pulled him in for a hug.
Tears started to fall again. Rantaro laughed awkwardly and hugged me back. He patted my back while I cried into his shirt. "
