Jordan climbed in his truck ,flipped his lights on and sped off to the house
When he pulled onto the street he could see emergency lights and cars everywhere
"Jordan !"Mattie screamed his name
Jordan slammed the gearshift into park and jumped out of his truck
He stopped abruptly when he saw Mattie running toward him
"Mattie?"he questioned
Mattie launched herself into his arms without warning
Thankfully,Jordan caught her
"Baby what's wrong ?"
"I was in the kitchen when I noticed one of the bushes out front on fire "
"Did you see anything else ?"
"A man in all black walking up the driveway "
"Did you give a description to Henry ?"
Mattie nodded
"Did the fire get anywhere else ?"
Henry walked up behind them
"It took some of the porch but it's not bad she called the fire department right away and they were able to stop it from spreading to the rest of the house "
Jordan pulled her into his arms "Thank God you're okay "
Murray walked over to them
"I found accelerant by the garage "He explained to Jordan
Jordan swore under his breath
"You were very lucky"Murray told Mattie
Jordan wrapped his arm around Mattie's shoulder
"With the description Mattie gave it sounded like your brother "Henry sighed
Jordan pulled out his phone and handed it to Mattie
"Is this him ?"
The photo was from Richard's graduation but it could give Mattie an idea of who it was
Mattie nodded
"Fuck "Jordan mumbled
"Put out an apb on Richard and Aiden"
"Was Aiden with him ?"Henry asked
"No he was alone "
"Why do you want an apb on Aiden ?"
"Because I know they've been together a lot recently and I want that little bastard questioned "
"Do you think he'll talk ?I mean they couldn't even hold him the last time "Mattie reminded him
"Oh he'll talk because this time he won't be released "Jordan muttered
"The house is clear Jordan "Murray told him before walking back to the truck
"Go inside and let us handle finding your brother and nephew "Henry told him
"Do you need her for anything ?"
Henry shook his head "You know if we need anything else we'll contact "
Jordan led Mattie inside as the emergency vehicles began to clear out
"I figured it was your brother I noticed a resemblance right away "Mattie explained
