When we knocked on the door, then a stairway opened up next to us. "I'm down here!" a voice yelled from below his voice was strangely similar to Natsu's voice from Fairy Tale. I raised a finger as if I was about to say something" I-...ya know what? I'm not surprised anymore." At this point, I'm starting to get used to the whole magic thing. Dad sighed "He always loved his potions". The stairs went down in a zigzag, the walls were made of cobblestone with a few cracks and vines here and there.
"How old is this place?" I was curious, everything looked like it was about to fall apart. "Well, you see... I have no clue." he finished weakly. Dad started to walk faster "Stay here," He went ahead of me, then all I could hear was inaudible yelling "Okay, c'mon!" Dad called. I walked down and my dad was sitting at a bar with a bruised bartender. "Hi?... What happened here?" I was so confused.
The room was empty for the most part there was a bar to the left of me and on the right was a wall of colorful bottles. The bartender stepped out from behind the bar, he was taller than dad and built, to say the least. "Ah, don't worry about it bud!" he went in to give me a hug when "Ouch!" he spun me around and took a look at the roses on my back. "So this is why you're here... ''his mood went from happy to ecstatic. "You're finally taking up magic!" He gave me a welcoming smile.
I backed away "This is nice and all but... I haven't the slightest clue who you are." His face dropped "You really don't remember me, huh?" "Sorry... I don't have any memories of you..." I was starting to get really nervous. He went back behind the bar "Come, sit down." he motioned me over. When I sat down I asked, "So, who are you to me?" I was avoiding eye contact, it was so awkward. "First, are ya thirsty?" He began to sound sympathetic. "Sure, I could use a drink, you wouldn't believe the day I've had."
I'm not gonna lie, I was exhausted. He gave me coffee that was the one thing I needed the most."Creamer?" he held up a bottle of peppermint mocha. "No, I drink it black". Once I finished, he handed me a bottle with some lavender colored liquid in it. "Here drink this, don't worry it has no taste".He turned to my dad. "Hey, Delvin could you go upstairs? I wanna talk to Silver alone for a bit." he turned back to me as dad walked upstairs.
"Before you take a drink of that I want you to stay calm as the effect kicks in okay?" he gave me a dead serious look. "O-okay... " I took a swig of whatever it was. Memories upon memories came rushing back. My pupils dilated and I looked up pissed. "You... " my hair was up in flames again along with my roses. "Hey bud, calm down we can talk about this... " he backed up. I didn't listen, "You used me as your lab rat, you made me forget everything... You even killed her!" I was ready to get rid of him.
"I never meant to kill her, I promise!" he was backed into a corner. "Silver stop!" a voice yelled from behind me. Next thing I knew I was being held down to the ground. My dad walked up "Take a nap... " a droplet of water fell on my forehead and I was out.
