Kaylie POV:
It was Saturday night, the night before the Cowboys game at MetLife Stadium against the Jets. My cousin Keith from Arizona was in along with his brother Kyle and his wife from upstate New York. They were huge Cowboys every since they were little kids. My dad recently surprised me with tickets to go see the boys play a weeks ago. He bought 5 tickets so I was able to bring 4 guests. It became clear to me as to why my cousins were in now, knowing that they would be the other guests attending the game with me. My cousin Keith, Kyle, his wife Lauren, my other cousin Kristen (who lived minutes from me) & I would be attending Sunday nights game. Yes, I know what you are thinking lots of K names in my family. My three cousins attending the game with me are all brother and sister. Me, I just happened to have my name start with a K too. It was around 7pm when I received a message from Kyle.Kyle
Hey Kay, me and Keith are at The Moontower. Get your ass down here for a drink NOW!!Kaylie
I'm literally laying on my couch right now in sweats watching the Penn State Game.Kyle
Your point? come in your sweats I won't judge, Keith might though. He was always the one for sarcasm. Keith was worse
Kaylie
Very funny... Give me 15-20 minutes and I'll be there.Kyle
Ok See ya soonI was currently laying on the couch with baggy sweats on, a oversized Nike sweatshirt and my hair tossed up in a messy bun, obviously not dressed to go out kinda outfit. I live in an apartment with my best friend Chloe. She was currently visiting Europe with her family so I've been chilling in an apartment alone for the past few days. I can't wait for her to come back home though because I miss gossiping with her. She's literally my right hand and I would be totally lost without her.
Not long after reading his last text, I rolled off the couch stretching while doing so, (not remembering the last time I even got up from the couch) heading upstairs to my room to get ready. I threw on my ripped mom jeans with a Nike Penn State shirt with a black sweater over it. I'm a Penn State Alum, so I feel as if I should rep the football team tonight, it's the least I can do. I throw my hair up into a neater ponytail, apply minimum makeup and make my way downstairs. I throw on my Steve Madden black booties that are laying right by the door, grab my purse and keys and make my way out the door. I hit the unlock button on my white Range Rover and begin to drive to the bar. After a short 7-8 minute drive I arrive. This place is always so busy and of course you can never find a parking spot at this place! It almost makes you not want to ever come here again just because the parking is so bad! After 5 minutes I finally find a spot to park. I grabbed my purse and my phone from the passenger seat and made my way in to find my cousins.
After minutes of awkwardly looking around, I finally found them sitting at the bar. I gave them extra tight hugs just because I don't get to see them quite as often as my other cousins. I am thankful for every little second I get to spend with them. We talked about nonsense for a while then started to discuss our plans and schedule for the day tomorrow. Kyle had a truck big enough for all 5 of us so he volunteered to drive. We were staying at a local hotel overnight, so we weren't worried about driving home super late. After a few drinks, I hugged them goodbye and made my way back home. Penn State won and still remained undefeated which was awesome. I was super tired when I got home, so I hopped right into bed realizing tomorrow was going to be a long ass day. I laid in bed for a while, staring at my ceiling until I drifted to sleep thinking about tomorrow.
Sorry that it took me a chapter to get to the point but I just wanted to explain some background about Kaylie before I jump right into the good stuff! I hope this isn't tooooo terrible this is my first one I'm writing ever!! So I hope you LOVE it!! ❤️
