I looked down. If I got drunk who knows what would happen?! I could never be too safe. Parties are SO dangerous, never mind clubs!! "No. I think it's best if I stay." I sighed and looked back at him. Even though his smile never wavered, Alastor's face fell. "Oh.. well, there's always extra chores! Heh." He chuckled half heartedly. A flash of disappointment gleamed in his eyes as he walked away, vanishing into the shadows. I felt a twinge of guilt for not going with them. Well, it's late and I don't want to pull an all nighter.. i guess sleep it is. Walking up the stairs and into my room, I sank into unconsciousness with ease.

It was early morning. I had gotten changed into a F/C hoodie and S/F/C tights. Walking down the stairs, I saw Ruth, Auroura, and Alastor downstairs, laughing as though they were old friends. Which was very odd. "Okay but last night was AMAZING. And also, who knew you danced?" Ruth raised an eyebrow as she looked at Alastor. "Well. It was really meant for Y/N. I even paid for some old music. But she never came." Alastor said tensely. I walked down the stairs. Last night could've been so dangerous for me. But Alastor? Dancing with someone else? PAYING for me? I felt heavy with guilt and shame. "Oh, morning Y/N." Alastor glanced at me for a second, before switching back to Ruth and Auroura, who didn't even seem to see me. I huffed and sat down. "I'm not going out. Anywhere. It's too dangerous. I'd rather stay at the hotel." I announced. Alastor rolled his eyes. "That's a little needy, don't you think, dear?" He asked testily. "Erm. Kind of?" I laughed sheepishly.

It wasn't long until we were all cleaning the hotel. I went to dust off a piano, but Alastor bustled past and did it first. I snorted, reaching up to dust a painting instead. Again, he did it first. I shot him a glare but he didn't notice. This repeated several times. "Anything you can do I can do it better." I fired at him, finally speaking. "Ha!" Alastor scoffed, shooting a cocky glare at me.

"I can do anything better than you." I said simply, dusting a couch off perfectly with two swipes of the duster. "No, you can't." Alastor mirrored my actions, sounding ticked off. "Yes I can." My singsong voice was lined with haughtiness as I fixed the spots he missed on the couch. "No, you can't." Alastor repeated angrily, hurriedly correcting the couch himself. "Yes I can," I dusted off another piece of furniture. "Yes I can!" With every exclamation, some item was dusted with ease. Alastor watched me with venom in his eyes.

"Anything you can be, I can be it greater!" Alastor smiled, his eyes turning to radio dials and antlers extending into a beautiful rack, symbols floating around him with the hum of static. An X marked his forehead. "Sooner or later I'm greater than you." He hissed, and snapped his fingers. Tentacles appeared from a portal in the floor, snatching vermin and other critters into the portal before everything vanished. "No you're not~" I shot back. Blue flames engulfed my legs and arms, black angel wings extending from my back. Antlers poked through my hair. "Yes I am!" Alastor surrounded himself in a fiery red aura. "No you're not." I snickered and moulded a ball of fire, tossing it from hand to hand. "Yes, I am." Alastor said firmly, taking a step closer. "No, you're not!" I hummed, also taking another step closer. "Yes I am!" Alastor smirked haughtily. Taking another step until we were nose to nose, we each exchanged fiery but amused glares. Everything special vanished until we were our normal selves.
