12.30p.m.

I was sitting in the waiting room. I hope there isn't any serious injuries. Drew isn't here with me, and would you like to know why? That's because he's with the doctor as well.

After I bandaged up all the injuries I could bandage on Keaton and Wes, Drew stumbled into the house with a black eye, a bloody nose and a goofy smile. I was so upset at him.

That idiot still owes me an explanation. I was sitting here in sweatpants and a hoodie with slippers. I didn't have time to change.

I was exhausted. You have no idea how long it took me to get those three idiots into the car. Just as I was about to start driving, Wesley started screaming then the other two followed and ran out of the car. Wesley complained that there was a cockroach and made me go back in to check on it. Turns out he was just screaming at his own thumb.

I smiled. I just can't get enough of those idiots.

I got a corner seat so I could lean my head on the wall. To get more comfortable, I brought my legs up in yoga style and left my Barbie slippers on the floor, don't ask.

I closed my eyes for a bit and tried to get some rest just to be awoken by a little sneeze coming from right in front of me.

" Oopsie daisy. " a little girl about 4 years old said.

" Bless you. " I smiled.

" Thank you. " she said rubbing her nose.

She was adorable. She had cute little brown pigtails and she wore a blue puffy dress. She was sitting on the floor admiring my Barbie shoes. I couldn't help, but smile.

" Hello, Missy. " I smiled at her. She gave me a toothy smile, one of her front teeth missing.

" Hi, I was sitting over there, " she pointed at a seat about three steps away, " when I saw your slippers. They looked just like my favorite ones! " I cocked an eyebrow.

" Oh really? " I smiled at her.

" But...you're feet are....giganticer. " she said, thinking about it, not looking so sure. But then nodding slightly.

" You mean bigger? " I giggled. She thought for a while.

" That's what I said! " she smiled nodding. I laughed a bit. Oh children.

" What's your name, sweetie? " I smiled at her.

" Alice. " she smiled back.

" Nice to meet you, Alice. I'm Maddison, but you can call me Maddy. " I smiled, putting my hand out for her to shake it. But instead she head butted it and giggled.

" Where's your mummy, Alice? " I asked patting on the seat next to me for her to sit down. She carefully climbed up and sat down, her feet not touching the floor.

She thought for a while, " I don't know...Luke won't tell me. " she pouted.

" Luke? " I raised my eyebrows.

She nodded, " He's my brother! " she explained.

" So where is Luke? " I asked, slightly curious why this 5 year old girl is here alone without a guardian.
