He's lying in bed, the cream, silky covers covering him to his chest, the fairy lights on their canopy were glittering like stars in the night sky and he's waiting for Draco to hurry up and be finished with his night routine so they can cuddle.

He adores the boy but he firmly believes that there is no real need for Draco to be in the bathroom for almost an hour each night washing his face. He already has such smooth and fresh skin, he doesn't need to put all that product on.

He looks over at the clock on his bedside drawer, bored out of his mind waiting for his beloved.

He hears their En suite door click open and he turns his head, and... Draco looks the same, great.

You would think with all that time in the bathroom he would look like a model but no, he looks like the exact same as he did when he went in.

"You look lovely darling, but please come to bed, I'm afraid it's getting quite lonely without you here." Better butter him up so he might actually come to bed quicker tonight.

"I'm coming, goodness, i just need to get a glass of water, alright?"

Harry hums in agreement, slipping his glasses off and casting a wandless spell to make his eye sight better. He and Hermione invented it, but it only lasts for a few hours at a time, and is not permanent, so he only uses it at night.

Draco minced back into the room, carrying his small glass of water, Harry smiles a soft smile, and he's sure his eyes have dilated with complete adoration. How could he not? This man, his boyfriend, is stunning.

Draco sets the glass down on his bedside drawer and he slips into the super king sized bed gracefully.

He immediately turns to Harry and offers him a sleepy smile and moves to cuddle into him, holding him tightly.

"I love you, Harry."

"I love you too, my darling."

"No, Harry, I love you, I've no idea who I would be without you," It's said so sleepily, that Harry wonders how he can still have so much passion in his voice, "I adore you, I cherish and care for you like no other and I'm so very grateful that you are in my life."

Harry just strokes his soft hair, running his fingers through it, absorbing every word Draco said over and over again, until he says something he really didn't mean...

"Marry me." Harry blurts out.

Draco jumps up to look at him incredulously, complete shock and disbelief written as clear as day on his face.

"Oh fuck," He says, watching Draco's face "Did I say that out loud?"

"Yes, you did, you bloody moron!" Draco replies.

They've talked about marriage before, and both agreed they want to get married, but it wasn't supposed to happen like this.

No, It was going to be in the manors huge garden, there was going to be candles and fairy lights to surround them. The sky was gong to be pitch black, the twinkling stars all around them. It was meant to be beautiful. But now, Harry has ruined it by completely, out of the blue, asking Draco to marry him whilst they're lying in bed.

He grimaces and gives Draco his best 'I'm a fool, but you know you love me,' smile. It works instantly; Draco's expression turns to one of fondness, his eyes go a little dreamy and he rolls his eyes and lays back down on Harry's chest, pulling him close.

Harry's a little confused though, he wants an answer but at the same time... he doesn't? Well, he didn't mean to do it today but now it's out there and he's kind of expecting an answer.

"So..." He pushes for answer, because now his nerves are getting to him and what if Draco doesn't want to marry him anymore?

Draco lets out a quiet chuckle, takes a deep breath and goes, "Of course I'll marry you, you complete buffoon."

And at that, Harry's nerves fall away.

They lay there for a few minutes before Harry realises that Draco said yes! He just said yes to marrying him!

At that he pulls Draco's face, awkwardly, to his and smash therir lips together. Draco shifts about so he's facing Harry now and his hands come to grip the sides of his face, running his thumbs along Harry's carved cheekbones.

Harry holds the back of Draco's neck, stopping him from pulling away, and his other hand runs through Draco's baby soft hair, as it usually does.

They sit there, kissing for hours, or what feels like hours, before the pull away, out of breath, foreheads resting against eachother.

"Your so silly Harry."

Harry pulls back and feigns offence, "I'll have you know Mr Malfoy-Potter that I am not silly, I'd say I'm quite smart."

"Oh really now," Draco remarked "How's that, may I ask?" He flutters his eyelashes at Harry, and pouts his pretty, pink lips.

"Well, lets see, I have just got the love of my life to marry me, and I'd say that's quite the accomplishment." He answers, a goofy, sweet grin on his face.

Draco smiles such a wide smile, his dimples out and his perfect, white teeth showing.

"I love you." The passion in his voice makes Harry want to drool. He's so lucky to have had the opportunity to have Draco, and he'll be damned if he lets anybody take him away.

"I love you too," Harry replies "I'm so lucky to have you Draco, so, thank you, for giving me the gift of you, it's all I need in this life," He continues on.

He can feel Draco smiling against his chest and that makes him so happy and glad that he can make him smile.

"Your welcome, Harry." It's said so sleepily, so he canfunés his hand through Draco's hair, urging him silently to go to sleep.

He kisses the top of Draco's head and he lays back, pulling Draco as close as he can, loving the warmth that Draco brought.

He closes his eyes and soon he's asleep.

They'll talk about it in the morning, they'll floo their friends, and all the Weasley's, and of course Draco's parents but most importantly they will both visit Harry's parents' grave and tell them the good news, they'd hate to miss out, he's sure.

But for now, they'll just sleep, the love comforting them into a blissful and heavenly night sleep.
