hyejin: hey!
interviewer: so how have you been? whats new? whats up hye?
hyejin: i've been amazing thank you for asking. well i'll tell you whats new and whats up, i just released a song!
interviewer: yes you did! 'Lose you to love me' it's been ranked number one since it came out and its taking the world by storm, being played on radios all over.
hyejin: yeah, its amazing and i honestly never thought that a song that i wrote when i was hurting was going to touch as many people as it has.
interviewer: well, it has. would you like to talk about the song? the lyrics? the meaning? who it was inspired about?
hyejin: well, it was a song I wrote about three years ago, and it is obviously about an ex of mine. I actually decided to publish this song so that people understand what went on and how I felt during the time that I had to deal with this heartbreak. I wanted people to know that they aren't alone and that heartbreak happens to so many people and at different times. I realized that I never spoke about it. People assume that I am still hung up on him but the truth is that I'm not. If I was, I wouldn't have had the guts to put this song out. If anything putting this song out has taken all this pressure off of me. The lyrics describe what I went through as the breakup started and ended. Some of the lyrics are about how much I've learned from that relationship and how much I've grown since then. I feel a lot happier knowing that this song is out and that I didn't leave it in the dark. Back then, if I told people about the breakup or the relationship, I wouldn't be able to talk about it. Not because of management but because it would hurt me to say anything about how terrible the relationship was. Now, I can talk about it because it no longer hurts me. I can truly say that I've been happy. I have been for a while now, I got over it after a year or two ago and now, that chapter of my life is closed and I started my new chapter two years ago. I'm relieved.
interviewer: its nice to hear that you're happy. I am truly happy for you too.
Hyejin smiled and got up. "Thank you for the interview!" She said as she grabbed her sweater and bowed to the interviewer. "Thank you for coming on and sharing your story" she replied.
Hyejin walked out of the studio with a bouquet in her hand and a huge smile on her face. She grabs her phone as she gets a notification: Min Hyejin talks about her newest single, 'lose you to love me'. Watch now. She smiled and gets into her car. She can finally breathe. She can finally live without any secrets or any hurting. She's finally happy.
