1) Take Hyejin out for dinner on their 4th anniversary (today)
2) after dinner, go to the exhibit they went to, where they had their 8th date.
3) go to the museum where they had their 7th date.
4) go to the little outside shop where she got drunk on their 6th date.
5) go to the park where they had their first kiss on their 5th date.
6) go to the movie theater where they held hands for the first time on their 4th date.
7) go to the aquarium where namjoon bought fish earrings for her and broke them on their 3rd date.
8) go to the crowded but really pretty bridge where they had their second date.
9) go to back to the dorms where they met and where Namjoon helped Hyejin during her break up, to the place where their love truly started
Namjoon grabs Hyejins hand.
"Do you remember the first time we met?" He asked her.
Hyejin smiled and looked over at him, "how could i forget it?"
They had just left the aquarium that was opened late, as to Namjoon's request.
They were currently on their way to the bridge.
"I remember it like yesterday " Namjoon said.
Hyejin laughed.
*flashback*
"yah! yoongi!" Hyejin yelled as she knocked on the door for the fourth time.
Yoongi had asked her to go to his dorm today, something about how his members and his sitters need to meet each other, except that their older sister was busy so it would only be her.
Hyejin sighed.
that lazy bit-
The door opened.
A confused Namjoon looks down at her.
"Can I help you?" He asked her
"Yeah, you can, show me the way to that asshole yoongi's room please." She said as her eyebrows furrowed.
Namjoon stared at her.
She was angry but it was cute. He smiled and his dimples showed.
Hyejin looked up at him and her heart nearly melted.
damn he's cute, wait, what. NO. where the hell is that stupid brother of mine?!
"Oh! You're yoongi hyungs sister right?" He asked as he let her in.
"Yup, one of them, my sister couldn't make it." Hyejin said as he told her to sit on the couch.
Namjoon ran upstairs as he told Hyejin to wait a minute.
Three minutes later a very tired Yoongi walked downstairs.
"Why are you here?" He said as he rubbed his eyes.
"are you f*cking kidding me?" Hyejin said as she got up.
"You called me and asked me to come to your dorms, then you oversleep and make me wait thirty minutes in the freezing cold, and to top it off, you ask me WHY I'M HERE!?" Hyejin said as she walked up to Yoongi and smacked his head lightly.
Namjoon laughed softly at his hyung getting told off by his younger sister.
"yah! I'm still older than you, show some respect!" Yoongi said as he rubbed his head. Hyejin rolled her eyes.
She walked to the couch and plopped down.
"So whats up?" Hyejin asked.
"oh, yeah so you know how haylee is engaged right? I want to have us perform at her wedding!" He said excitedly
"yoongi... she JUST got engaged yesterday. Hyejin says as she folds her eyes.
"oh, yeah but we could still perform when it comes!" he said as he walked to their kitchen.
"thats it? THATS WHY YOU CALLED ME? THATS WHY I'M HERE?" hyejin huffs.
Yoongi smiled and said "yup baby sis! you can go now! get home safe!" he said as he ate his cereal.
Hyejin got up and rolled her eyes.
As she walked to the door someone beat her to it.
Namjoon opened it " I could walk you home if you want" he said as he held onto the door handle.
Hyejin smiled at him "no need! it's actually pretty close. well bye yoongs! bye namjoon" she said as she walked down the stairs.
She waved at Namjoon and left.
Namjoon smiled and closed the door.
she's really cute he thought to himself.
*end of flashback*
Hyejin and Namjoon laugh.
They walked to the spot where the sat on their date on their second date.
Namjoon was sitting there, wiping some sweat off his forehead.
Did she catch on? Does she realize that they went everywhere on this date?
Does she know he's going to propose?"
He shook those thoughts out and sat up straight. He grabbed her hand and started playing with it.
Hyejin awes all of a sudden.
Namjoon looks up.
He smiles as he sees a baby waving at them with a big bright smile on his face.
He waves back he turns to the right and sees a car, he can see davids head stick out with his camera, Natalie sitting next to him. David gave him a thumbs up and drives off. Namjoon smiles. Everything is ready now. Namjoon walks back to the car while holding her hand. "I forgot something at the dorms, do you mind if we go back?" He asked hoping that she would be okay with it.
"Yeah sure!" She said as she smiled and took his hand.
Namjoon parked outside and got out, he ran to the other side and opened her door. They walked to the front door and he grabbed his keys to open it. He let out a big breath as he felt the box in his pocket. He opened the door, all the lights were off. He turned the lights off and was greeted with a path of roses, both red and white. Hyejin gasps, "Woah, did you do this?" She says as she covers her mouth. Namjoon smiles in his heading thinking not really but it was my idea. He grabs her hand and walks her through the house towards the back door. The outside lights were off, it looked dark. Namjoon stepped in front of Hyejin and was standing face to face with her now. She smiled as she looked up at him. He grabs a blindfold from the couch that was right next to them. Her eyes widen, "ah no, you know i don't like doing this" she says as she pouts. He laughs at her and gives her a quick peck as he puts the blindfold on her. "Do you trust me?" He asks her.
She scoffs, " Yah, Kim Namjoon what type of question is that? Of course I trust and love you, wahhh I'm offended that you would think that i don't" she said as she crossed her arms. Namjoon laughed and gave her a kiss. He grabbed her hand and opened the door that led to their backyard. Once they were outside he can see the decorations and one of the hidden cameras. He saw the poster and the balloons and the table full of snacks and candy. He smiled to himself as he mentally thanked all his friends, no, family for helping. He looked to his right and saw jungkook sitting there while munching on some chips, he looked up at Namjoon, wide eyed as Jin grabbed his collar and dragged him to where no one can see them. Namjoon walked into the heart made of roses. He saw everyone else stand where they were just a minute ago all of them with their phones out. They all give him a thumbs up and he takes Hyejin's blindfold off. She stands there trying to adjust her eyes. Jimin quickly turns on the fairy lights that they had put up around the yard. Hyejin finally looks up in awe and smiles at Namjoon as she grabs his cheeks and leans in to kiss him. They both smile into the kiss. Namjoon then breaks the kiss and keeps his forehead on hers. They are now staring at each other, both with huge smiles on their faces. He makes sure to keep her focus on what's in front of her as she awes at the little fairy lights set up.
"Hyejin, I've known you for about 6-7 years now right? And the moment I first saw you, I know you were the one. The first time I met you, you were wearing a brown t shirt, with blue jeans. You had your hair in a ponytail and you were wearing your glasses." He said as she smiled at the fact that he remembered the little things.
"We became friends, great friends but it never felt right. Then he broke your heart and I knew. I knew that I wanted to be the one to fix it. I wanted to make myself better so that I could deserve you. I remember our first date, you were blushing like crazy, believe me I was too. Even though it was new for both of us, it felt right. You've always been the one even if you didn't see it. I never imagined myself with anyone else but you." He walked behind her, make her turn around. Her eyes widen at what was spelled out in front of her. Namjoon kneels as her eyes follow his every movement, hyejin covers her mouth in shock. "That's why I need to ask you this. Will you make me happier and will you marry me, Hyejin Min?" He said he looked up at her. Hyejin's eyes widened as she put her hand over her mouth.
Namjoon looks up at her nervously.
"yes! yes! I will marry you Kim Namjoon" she says as she jumps on him and hugs him tightly.
She grabs his face and smashes her lips onto his as she smiles. Tear drops running down her face.
He pulls away and his eyes soften when they meet Hera. He wipes her tears and kisses her hand and he puts the ring on. All their friends jump out while recording, they all run up to congratulate the happy couple. The girls take Hyejin away for a minute while the boys take namjoon away. Hyejin looks over at Namjoon and blows him a kiss as they make eye contact. He smiles and bites his lip. He was finally going to marry the love of his life and he couldn't wait for the next chapter in their life.
