A/N: this one is very long even though i didn't mean for that to happen😂 i was watching the episode and i HAD to write this. i hope you guys like it :) (gender neutral platonic reader)

You're phone ringing pulled you away from the scene of the sun setting in front of you. You furrowed your brows in confusion, your phone barely rang. People didn't call you that often. You pulled it from your pocket, and smiled slightly as you saw Sam's name. You then frowned, hoping it was nothing bad. You clicked on the accept call button before putting the phone up to your ear. "Hello Sam"

"Hey Y/N" you frowned at the tone of his voice. "Is something wrong, Sam?" he sighed deeply. "Yes and no. Just... come to the bunker as soon as you can" you stood up quickly. "I'll be there soon" you hung up and immediately went to the bunker.

You saw Sam and Castiel facing each other as you appeared at the other end of the table. "Castiel. Sam" you smiled, walking swiftly over to Castiel. You wrapped your arms and pulled him into you, hugging him tightly. You stepped back and turned to Sam, hugging him too.

When you stepped back from Sam, you frowned at their worried expressions. "What's going on?" you asked. "This may be a lot to process, but you have to listen to me" your eyes widened slightly. "Now you're really worrying me. Is someone dead?" you guessed the worst. "No, n-no. The opposite actually" Sam looked down at his hands and sighed. He paused before looking back up at you.

"Gabriel is alive" you froze. You thought you had heard him wrong. Your mouth opened but nothing came out as your mouth went dry. Your mouth closed as you stared at Sam. Your eyes shot over to Castiel, who nodded. "I..." you managed to get out, but you weren't able to make a full sentence. "Really?" you couldn't believe it. "Really" Sam assured you.

"Is he... is he here?" Sam nodded. "Come with us" you followed close behind Sam and Castiel as you walked through the halls of the bunker. Sam stopped in front of a closed door. "He's really messed up. He won't talk. He wrote his... story on the wall... in Enochian" you nodded.

You reached out for the door handle, gripping it tightly, taking a small pause before turning the handle and pushing it open. You saw your brother sitting on the edge of the bed. You felt your eyes prick with tears as you examined the shape he was in. His face was cut up, bruised and bloody. He looked horrified. He didn't even look up at you when you entered. You closed the door behind you and took a few steps toward him.

"Gabe?" you whispered. He still didn't look up. "Gabriel? It's Y/N" you said a bit louder. When he still kept his eyes trained on the floor, you looked up and around at the walls. They were covered floor to ceiling in Enochian. You read it quickly, smiling slightly as you realized he had tricked your brother Lucifer once again, and shaking your head slightly at how in detail he went about porn stars. You frowned when you read about the torture from Asmodeus. You felt like a horrible sibling. You hadn't protected him.

Once you had finished reading, you turned back to your brother. "Gabe... I'm sorry you went through all that. Please... talk to me" he didn't move. You felt tears begin to fall down your cheeks. "At least look at me... please"

Gabriel finally tilted his head up to look at you. You could only see the horror on his face as he stared at you with wide eyes. You smiled sadly. "Gabe, it's me" he stared at you for a few more seconds before looking back down at the floor. He hugged his legs closer to his chest.

You nodded, knowing you wouldn't get anywhere with him. You turned and opened the door, walking out. You looked to Sam and his face immediately softened. He quickly pulled you into a hug. You sniffled and wiped your eyes. You had never really felt feelings like this before. Maybe when people you cared about died, but this was different. "He didn't speak to me. He just looks so afraid" your voice broke.
