Devil Town - Cavetown

Chapter 2

October 11, 1997
Me and Lilith were playing hide and seek in the new house. We were both still getting used to the different kids and people in the town, even though there has been almost a year that we've been living here already. When I was trying to find Lilith in hide and seek, I heard a yell from moms and dads room. They always said that me and Lilith should never go in there or otherwise dad would be mad and so I went to the door and listened. Mom was mad at dad again. He provably said something dumb again, like how drinking would help you make you feel better about me, they're mistake. I wasn't planned at all. He never wanted a child like him. A devil.

A few days passed after I heard them fighting again and they came to me an Lilith. We were playing with my dolls. They confessed that "mom and daddy aren't in love anymore" and that mom would want to move somewhere else. Far away from dad. Me and Lilith looked at each other in fear. We didn't want to get separated and we knew that mom would take Lilith with because she was scared that I would start treating her the same as my dad treater my mom. But then mom somehow read our minds and told us, that we can still stay together. She won't take Lilith away from me! We both looked happy at first, until we realized other problems. We're going to have to live with one of the other parent.

"Im so sorry Charon, but I can't take you and Lilith with me, it would be too dangerous for you." Said my mom, and emmidately I felt like darkness took over me. 'Me and Lilith are going to stay with dad.' I thought. I started crying. Lilith and mom came and took me into loving hug, while my dad watched with a cold, unloving face. 'I'm going to have to settle for two birthdays now.' I thought while sobbing onto my moms shirt
