Devil Town - Cavetown

Chapter 4

April 13, 1999
I had a very bad panic attack today, and something.. happened while it was going on..
I forgot my name..
You would probably think that that's something worth remembering, right? Dad told me that It was because I was starting to form into a devil. I'm scared. I don't want to form into a Devil! I never wanted that! I don't want Lilith to be scared of me when I'm around! What is going to happen?

I also started to be nicer to little creatures, especially spiders. I found some in Lilith's shoes one day. Lilith screamed, because she doesn't like spiders. I have never known why. She went and took the shoe to try and get the spiders out and kill them. I was filled with anger. How could she do something like that to a spider family who has done nothing to you?! I felt like something was happening to me. Like my soul was forced to hide somewhere. Everything turned to muttering for a second and then I heard Lilith's voice screaming to me for help. Everything came back and what I saw was Lilith who was thrown onto the other side of the room and her shoe with the family of spiders on my hand. I realized that I did this. With my devil powers! I looked paralyzed. And I saw from Lilith's expression that I started crying. She came and hugged me.
"I didn't mean to" I cried.
"I didn't mean to"
"I just wanted the spiders to live another day" "I'm sorry"
"I didn't mean to".

I heard the wind blowing outside with a cold breeze. It was summertime so it wasn't really weird here. After the last incident with my powers, Lilith has helped me to try not to let my devil side take over me again. Everytime she saw me starting to show it she took my hand and everything was alright. I'm so scared of them, but Lilith has helped me to try and think that it's just a bad trait I own. A very bad trait.
