6 - detention

After school, Detention.

I sat in the front seat, sketching on my sketchbook. I had an hour of detention - it was also my first ever detention.

Unsurprisingly, there were the more popular kids hanging out together in detention, including Jungkook.

Jungkook hang out with Taehyung, Jimin and Hoseok and Mina joined them. I wondered were Namjoon was, though Namjoon was more behaved - in a way. He rarely got detention because he was the Principals son.

Namjoon having that advantage, he could also pull his friends out of detention - I was wondering why they didn't just leave. It could be because of Mina.

Rumours say Mina and Jungkook like each other ; I'm guessing Jungkook stayed in detention for her. Jimin, Taehyung and Hoseok are probably there to set them up, I don't know.

The only reason I haven't lost my mind in detention is because there's taehyung.

It's not a secret I have a crush on him by now.

I just continue to sketch, trying to make this hour pass by quickly.

"ELLIE." Jungkook yells from behind me. I look up and roll my eyes and turn around, looking at him.

"COME HERE." he said, waving at me.
I was about to say no, but there's taehyung, so why not ;)))

I grab my chair and sit near them, "what do u want jungkook"

"I'm sorry I got u into detention." he said, in a joking tone.

"Wait, you got her into detention?" Jimin asked.

"yeah, I kept messaging her and her being the person in love with me, she kept answering, how sweet!" he said

"haha you're so annoying." I say through gritted teeth,continuing to sketch.

"Ignore him," Taehyung nudged my arm and I just smiled.

Jungkook could tell my heart exploded because as soon as I looked at him, he wiggled his eyebrows and I glared at him to stop.

"Ellie, you should hang out with us sometimes!" Jimin joined in

"Oh, I don't wanna bother." I said

"Not at all!!" Hoseok said, excitedly, "it would be fun!! Although, jin and yoongi can't always hang out with us, they're in a higher year and they have more work to do."

"As long as I can tag along," Mina said, flipping her hair.

"Sure, we have that groupchat now, anyways. We can message there." I smiled.

"What groupchat?" Mina asked.

"We added Ellie to a groupchat with the boys. Well, Jungkook added her." Taehyung answered.

"What about meeee." she whined.

"ill add you too," Jungkook said.

The bell rang again, meaning that detention was over. I was so glad, I got up, waved goodbye and dashed off.

I ran to the comic book store to get the new comic books that were on sale, they were also selling them half price and the sale was going to end.

I went into the store and went around to find my favourite comic, ANDROMEDA. I searched everywhere for the 3rd Volume.

"Looking for something?" the cashier, Lara, asked.

I went to the comic book store really often so I was a regular. They even know my name now.

"Laura!! I NEED to find the 3rd Volume of Andromeda. It got released a few days ago." I said.

"Oh, it's over there!" she pointed.

I ran to where she was pointing, searching far and wide for it. As soon as I got to the third shelf, I saw it. My eyes sparkled and went to go reach for it, but another hand reached for it too.

I looked up and my eyes went into confusion, and frustration.

"no way." I said.

"WHAT ARE U DOING HERE?" Jungkook said.

"I came to buy THIS," I snatched the comic out of his hand. "AND what are YOU doing here?"

"I came to buy THIS, too." he snatched it out of my hand.

I rolled my eyes only to find out there was only one left.

"No way, I'm taking it. I've been waiting for months for this." I said

"Well, ME TOO." he said

"That's not fair! I FOUND IT FIRST." I said, frustratingly.

He sighs and flickers through the comic really quickly, then hands it to me.

"Thanks." I said, feeling good that he finally listened for once.

"Oh and, Aurora dies in the end." He says spoiling it.

My eyes widen, "JUNGKOOK!!!"
