"Oh how the tables have turned." I sigh as I turn off my phone, falling onto my bed.

"You should message him!!" Heidi says

"And why should I do that?" I say as Heidi gets up from the floor and jumps onto my bed.

"You guys need to solve it out... Ignoring each other won't help!!" Heidi pushes me.

"But he did the same to me!" I sigh

"Yeah, I know, but you should be the bigger person and not act the way he did." She says.

"Yeah, you're right." I say, checking my phone to see the time, "I'll message him tomorrow."

"Ummm... I don't think so..." She says

I furrow my eyebrows, "What do you mean?"

As soon as I said that, I heard a rock hit my window. I get up to go check, seeing Jungkook waiting there with a handful of little rocks.

I open my window, "Get up here." he nods and smiles.

"Listen Ellie, I am super sorry!!" Jungkook says.

I sit on my bed, criss-cross, waiting for his explanation.

"It was selfish of me to do that and I don't know what had gotten into me, I'm so sorry for ignoring you for months, I really am." Jungkook says.

I sigh, "It won't take back all the confusions I had and all the tears I lost but..."

"Wait, you cried?" He asks, cutting my sentence.

"Well.. yea! Of course!!" I say.

".....Awwwwwwww."

"It's not cute." I said, still kind of mad.

"I'm really sorryyyyy." He says, patting my head, "I'll make it up to you."

"No, it's okay. You don't want Mina to get jealous." I remark.

"Man, fuck her." He says, sitting next to me criss-cross, "You matter to me too."

"Well, apology accepted." I said.

"Yay!!" He hugs me as I push him off, "Stop it you idiot."

"Are we still besties??" Jungkook asks with his eyes widened.

I chuckle, "Yes, we are."

He smiles and lays on my bed, "Y'know, I'm really glad Heidi went to the party. After you left she talked some sense into me."

I turn around to face him, "Really? Heidi was talking to me a few minutes ago telling me how I shouldn't ignore you back and to be the bigger person and blah blah." 

"Heidi is cool but wait, she's here?" Jungkook asks, getting up in a sitting position again.

"Yeah she's right th- Wait where did she go?" I say, looking around the room.

He chuckles, "She must've left to give us some time alone."

"You talk as if I'm your girlfriend." I eye him suspiciously.

"No I don't, you're just my best friend that's all.." He says

"Yeah but be careful, Mina is possessive, y'know how she is!" I say

"Just forget about her, you're so obsessed with herrrr." He whines as he flops back onto my bed while I'm still in a criss-cross sitting position.

"Y'know, I missed you dummy." He says.

"Well, I missed you too.. I guess." I say.

I go to get up from my bed but Jungkook pulls me back onto the bed in a laying position. "I'm tired." He yawns.

My heart is beating a thousand times - I know it's in a best-friend way but why is it pounding this much?
