"And then he asked me if I was single, he seemed so interested on the date he made but he barely messages me!!!" Ellie sighs as Heidi sits on her bed listening to Ellie walking across her own room side to side complaining about her love life.

"Sounds to me that he's not the one." Heidi says

"B-But I like Tae, and it seems I have a chance." She says, defeated.

"Of course you have a chance, but is he the one is the REAL question." Heidi says, getting up from her bed.

"Yeah you're right. Hey, how are you so good at this?? Do you have a boyfriend or something?" Ellie asks Heidi but all she does is shake her head.

"Nope. I'm not meant for that." She says, grabbing her jacket.

"Oh, of course you are!!! You're so hot, no homo." Ellie says

Heidi chuckles, "same goes to you, but anyway, I gotta get moving. See ya!"

"Bye!!!" Ellie waves.

Well that was random, and to be fair I wanted to stay home today but I can't really say no either.

It was already 3:45, so I had to get ready quick.

"What's up, why did you want me to come?" Ellie asks curiously.

"Well... I uh- I needed to tell you something." Jungkook said, nervously.

"Sure, is there something wrong?" Ellie asks in a concerning way.

"No no! It's just that... I'm hungry, we should go eat something first." Jungkook said as he pulled Ellie by the arm.

"Sure, what do you wanna eat?" Ellie asks.

"Hmmm I don't know... let's go to that new diner that opened up a few months ago!!!" Jungkook suggests.

Of course Ellie agreed.

"Y'know.. I've been thinking.. why did Taehyung ask me out on that date? Does he normally do that with girls?" Ellie asks as she devours her plate of food.

Jungkooks expression changed, "Well... No. He never really asks anyone out, you're kinda his first."

4 days until prom

Ellie smiles to herself, "oh really?"

"Yep..." Jungkook said in an unreadable expression.

"Who are you taking to prom," Ellie smiles, "probably one of those popular girls you always play with."

Jungkook chuckles, "sure."

He suddenly gets up, "come with me."

"Huh?" She asks but he grabs her from her wrist and pulls her with him without asking any questions.

Jungkooks walking while Ellie looks at him in a confused way, "Kook, where are you going?"

"I need to talk to you... and it's very important." Kook finally stops to look at her.

"Sure, you know you can tell me." She says

"Alright I-" Jungkook stops his words as he stopped to think for a while.

Kooks POV

In the end is it even worth it? I've dated many girls and Taehyung never really was interested in anyone - and the only girl who he's finally interested in, I'm interested in her too.

That's so not fair for Taehyung, I'm taking away his chance. I think Taehyung should take the chance and not me.

"Hello???" Ellie waves her hand around Jungkook and giggles.

"Taehyung likes you." I blurt out.

"H-He does?" She asks, eyes wide open.

"Yes... you should go with him to prom." I say defeatedly.
