The Beginning (part 2)

As soon as I entered my room, I saw N'Gun standing still near the door. It seems like he didn't actually moved at all as he is still carrying his bag on his back plus he is still wearing his shoes.

Fuck. He seems mad and badly hurt. He might have heard what P'Fai and I talked about.

What should I do?? What should I say?!? This is crazy!!!

"N'Gun, come in and have a sit..." I said and tried to lead the way inside. He must have felt shy to enter by himself earlier, right?? That's what I should just think, I guess...

I looked back and saw he still haven't move an inch. Goodness this is so awkward. I don't know how to entertain guests!! I thought for a while then I realized I haven't given him a slipper and maybe that's what he is thinking right now.

"Sorry,  I forgot to get you a slipper. Here you can use this." I gave him my spare one but he have not reached out to get it from me. He is still standing still and looks like thinking so deep.

"I...I'm ok..kaay, P'Off. I sincerely apologize for disturbing your sleep. I am going now. I don't want to trouble you." he said softly.

"Thank you so much for your help, P. Good night." Shit! Is he about to cry?!??!! WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?!!!!!

He is about to reach the door and about to leave and I am panicking as fuck. I don't really know what to say so I just grabbed his arm to stop him.

He was startled by my action as I felt him shiver a bit then looked down at my hand on his arm.

"Sorry..." I said and immediately removed my hand.

He hesitated a bit... WE BOTH actually hesitated for a while. The silence and awkwardness between us is killing me!!!

"You don't need to apologize, P. I am the one causing you the inconvenience. I'm so sorry. Please have a rest now and I'll just see you later." he said without looking at me directly.

"No, don't need to leave N'Gun. You can stay here for the night." finally I was able to say something.

"You don't need to, P. I don't want to invade your personal space. I can just go to a nearby hotel.." he answered back still trying to avoid looking at me.

I must really have hurt him so bad earlier. Why am I so freaking stupid??!!

"N-no please. Don't go." I said as I reached out to him leading him inside without really forcing him.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to offend or hurt your feelings. I was just..uh.. caught off-guard a bit." I apologized again stuttering a bit out of nervousness how to handle this kid.

"It's okay, P'. As I said earlier I understand you that this is too sudden and too awkward for the both of us since we are still total strangers to each other" He said and I felt more guilty cause I know we have already became a bit comfortable with each other.

I can see the hurt in his eyes and I feel so fucked up. I asked him to sit down a bit and I got two glass of water for the both of us first.

"Honestly speaking, you are no longer a total stranger to me but it's just that I am really not used to having others inside my room well except for P'Fai but still we don't really sleep in a room together." I tried to explain my reason hoping that I can make him even a little bit better.
