Aida:

A day or two had passed since that day in the throne room, and since that day, I hadn't spoken to Kain either. I continued to slouch on my bed, my legs out and crossed along with my hands crossed on my chest. "Stupid Kain..." I grumbled. I heard the creaking of my door and I looked up to see Sanji walking in quite nervously.

"Hey Aida!" He chirped. I rolled my grey eyes as I gave him a dull look.

"What do you want Sanji?" I grumbled.

"Well," he began as he nervously rung his hands. "Ya know it's been a day or two since that day in tha  throne room and, uh, yuh haven't talk'd to Kain in a while so..."

"What? You expect me to suck up to him and just forget like nothing happened?!" My blood boiled now. I knew Sanji was stupid, but come on! He's taking Kain's side?!

"No! I was trying to say-!" He protested, putting his hands up.

"You know what Sanji!? Dishonor on you! Dishonor on Kain! And dishonor on the stupid cow too!" I yelled.

"Oy! What did I do to ya?! And don't bring cows into this! They have nothin against you! In fact, they make nice pot roast!" Sanji cried. I growled and  began to chuck pillows at him.

"Ow! Ow! Alright I'm going! Sheesh. Ya moody child!" Sanji grumbled as he walked out, closing the door behind him with a bang.

"What does he know?" I grumbled. "He hasn't had someone hide a big secret from him their whole life..." Then, like lightning striking a tree, a thought occurred to me.

If Kain was hiding something about my past....surely it wouldn't be as small as a simple memory. If it involved such a great deal like the kingdom of Wisteria, then surely it had to documented somewhere. I pondered for a bit and than an idea hit me; Kain's room. A tightness was in my stomach at the thought of rummagining around in his room, but I had no choice.

With that, I quickly ran out of my room and sprinted towards his. As I maneuvered through the hallways, I made sure that Kain wasn't around. In fact, looking at the sun dial, he should be out training those knights. When I finally arrived to Kain's room, I creaked the door open and peaked inside. His room was bare, expect for a bookshelf filled with books, a table, a dressing table, and a cot. I let go of the breath that I had unknowingly held and walked in stealthily. "Alright Kain," I mumbled. "If I was hiding something from me...where would I put it?" I said.

I blinked. "Actually....don't answer that question." I said as I shook my head and searched.

After searching for what seemed like hours beneath the dusty cot, through the dresser, his backpack, et cetera,  I finally found something. As I flipped through the books in his bookshelf, I finally found the answer to all my questions. Blowing the dust away,  I looked at the book as I wiped the leftover dust. "The Kingdom of Legends, the Kingdom of Wisteria." I read out. I chuckled as I held the book up with a smirk.

"Not so smart are we Kain?" I gloated.

"That's right! No one can hide from me!" I laughed, that is, until I looked at the the side of the book. There, gleaming in the darn sunlight, was a golden lock.

"Curse you Kain. Curse you...." I muttered angrily.

I gasped as I heard voices outside the door. Oh no, they're back! How could I have not heard?! Quick, Aida! Hide!

I looked around until I saw his cot. I quickly dove to the floor and rolled under the bed, the book held tightly against my chest, hoping that when Kain came in he wouldn't see any differences. That man had meticulous eyes. I had spent a good amount of time making sure that everything was just as it had been before I came in, "I'm tellin ye Kain! She has gone mad!" I heard Sanji said as I heard him walk in. "I mean yeah, she said dishonor on ye and that's alright but I had nothin to do with this quarry! And the cows had nothin in this either!"
