Chapter 7: Betrayal

Sorry for not updating in like a year but I'll continue the story now...

Percy POV

Dad told me to go back to the plan and leave Thalia for a bit. Meaning I had to go with rachel on that car ride. So I got out of my cabin and time traveled to the car.

~Time skip to The Last Olympian~

Basically I'm in the car with Rachel I'm supposed to be 15 but I'm 16 already but it's fine. I'll have a double birthday for 16 years old. I was in Paul's car which was slow. I saw rachel and she was talking to me something about going to some island with her.

"Oh pull up right there" she told me.

We parked at the dead end of the road. Across was the yellow beach and the Atlantic ocean.

"Well percy I really want you to go" she said.

"I dont know because of the prophecy and all but I'll think about it"

She put her hand on my arm.

"Just think about it, ok?"

"Sure but I still dont know" I knew I couldn't go but it wasn't her fault.

"My dad is being too nice to me. She wants me to go to Clarion Ladies Academy in the fall" she said.

"Isn't that where your mom went?"

"Yeah but I dont want to go. I want to go to school with you or somewhere else but not there."

"Oh." I felt bad for rachel and I needed to save or something.

"Let's forget about that and pretend we're normal people. We're watching the ocean and we like being together" she said.

But tbh when she said it like that it sounded pretty sexy. Maybe I have some feelings for her but I would only like her for us to be friends. The sunlight made her hair look like fire. She then started looking at me and I was wondering where Beckendorf was.

"Okay, just two normal people on a drive in the afternoon" I said almost shaking. I dont know what but I felt uncomfortable now knowing she might kiss me.

"And so... hypothetically, if these two people liked each other, what would it take to get the stupid guy to kiss the girl, huh?" She said.

"Oh" I replied. I didn't really want to break her heart or anything. She started getting close to me. I wondered if one kiss wouldn't hurt. Next thing I know her lips are touching mine...

WUMP-WUMP BUMP CRUNCH

"What the fuck is that" rachel said.

"Oooo Percy my son be kissing rachel" Beckendorf said.

"Yoo chill. Why are you even here with blackjack".

"Oh that's your pegasus from camp right?" Rachel said. Since she can see through mist she would know.

"Yeah"

"Well percy we have to go I found the you know.." he said.

"Sorry rachel I have to go now with him for the prophecy and stuff. I think the war would start in a bit" I said.
