We woke up the next morning to pancakes that were five miles high. I was sitting there imagining what this would everyday with him, eventually with cute little children, rosy cheeked, bright eyed, hyper, giggling children that I would cook for, love, clean after, help grow up, and help them start their own family. I loved Emerson I still do. I love him more and more everyday. He sat there eating his pancakes fattened with about pound of butter, and drenched in syrup, occasionally sipping on his orange juice. He was so cute I got up, went over, and pecked his sweet sticky lips. We giggled and when he finished we went on a walk. Evething seemed perfect in every way. We got home and I drove in my car to his house. When we got there his mother greeted me and seemed really awkward. We walked to the back, sat down on the bench in his beautiful garden. "Hey babe I need to talk to you." he said.

Oh no he's gonna break up with me. No no no no, I can't hear this.

Just then his phone rang: Mom is calling...

(Emerson's POV)

I answered it on speaker. "She's still in the back with you so I'm guessing when you told her we are moving she handled it well."

Oh no, some serious shit is about to go down.

"YOU'RE WHAT?!" she screamed at me and stormed our of the garden. "Mom I was just about to tell her I have to go!" I said irritated. She was so mad and I honestly felt horrible. I didn't know what to do or how to apologize. She was so upset when I approached her. She pushed me, punched me, and hit me. "I never want to talk to you again, I hope you go away and never talk to me again." My heart was shattered. "No thats what I was telling you, then she called." I tried explaining. "When are you moving?" she asked angrily. "Well my parents are going down to Florida next week to-" "FLORIDA?! I hate you!" "to... check it out this weekend and then they will buyit and we will start moving in immediately." I was saying, I could hear the hurt in my voice. "What day are you moving if they do buy it?"  "Umm well June 6th..." I said waiting for the rush of anger to begin again. "On my birthday?! What the hell... how about you just leave now. I like that idea better." she yelled sounding like she was about to cry getting into her car. "Finley! wait!" I said holding on to her car door. "Please just please call me later. I would like if you didn't leave but I doubt you will stay so..." She turned off her car. I had a little hope she would just be fine about everything, and realize she couldn't do anything about it. She got out with tears in her eyes, came up to me and punched me really hard in the stomach. "That's what my heart feels like, you couldve told me weeks earlier and I would've gotten over it and enjoyed the time we had. Now, I regret all that time I spent with you thinking you were just trying to make it a great summer and wonderful birthday. It was all a lie and you spent it keeping a secret from me. Now you're leaving on my birthday and I can't enjoy the rest of my time with you because I don't even want to see your fucking face!" she got in her car and drove off. She ignored me the whole night. I wasn't sure if she would ignore me until I moved and went away.

(Finley's POV)

I was so angry, I couldn't even look at him. I can't believe he kept this from me. I am not talking to him any time soon so if he moves then I guess he moves. His little stunt was ridiculous and I am not anywhere close to being okay with him waiting until the last minute to tell me
