Elides POV

Elide sauntered down the hallways quickly but quietly, her goal? Find Lucien. Getting some information about the land they were in is crucial to finding Aelin. And also not dying while trying to find Aelin. As she walked Elide found herself thinking about Aelin, 'where could she be? Is she okay? Who freaking knows' Elide thought. 'What if she had been captured and tortured by one of the other courts? What if she was starving out in the woods?' Elide shook her head banishing the thoughts from her mind, she knew that if she continued to think that way it would only make it harder to find Aelin.

"Looking for something?" A voice asked pulling Elide out of her thoughts. She turned her head to see Lorcan leaning against the wall down the hall (Ha that rhymes ^_^) (I'm such a dork).

"Yes actually," Elide stated matter of factly, Lorcan raised an eyebrow, a smirk appearing on his face.

"And what would that be?" he asked pushing off the wall and walking over to her.

"Lucien." That stopped Lorcan dead in his tracks. Elide spotted a frown flash onto Lorcan's face.

"And why are you looking for him?"Lorcan asked, emphasizing the him.

"I'm trying to get a little bit of information about the other courts out of him. Why do you care anyway?" Elide asked, taking a step towards Lorcan.

"I don't."

"You sure because you seem to care quite a lot" Elides eyes narrowed, a smirk painted across her face.

"Well let me make it clear that I certainly don't"  Lorcan stalked towards Elide, stopping only centimeters away from her.

Elide couldn't stop her eyes from flicking down to Lorcan's lips but, thankfully she noticed he was doing the same. Then, Lorcan pulled away, he was staring at someone over Elide's head, she turned around and of course, there was Lucien.

"Am I interrupting something?" He asked, a twinge of amusement apparent in his voice.

"No, no, of course not." Elide said hurridly, "I was looking for you actually." Lucien raised one of his perfectly plucked eyebrows.

"Oh really? Well, what can I do for you miss Elide?"

"I was wondering if you could tell me a bit about the other territories of this land. Courts, Hybren, human lands, anything and everything you can tell me really." Lucien nodded, he seemed to be genuinely listening to her. Finally, someone listens to her.

"Alright." Lucien began, "Come with me and I'll be happy to answer any questions you have." Elide smiled. Lucien continued to walk down the hall passing the two Erilians. "Come," Lucien said with a smile waving her towards him. Elide happily followed and as she left she could've sworn she heard a quiet growl emanate from the space behind her.
