I had received a text.

Yeah, I got a text. So?

Okay, I know that's a rubbish way or start a story but I'm just stating the facts.

So, I picked up my phone. No, I -

I grabbed my phone, irritated. I had recieved - no, I before E, except after C - received more than 9 texts this evening, and this was my 10th. Surprisingly, I found it was a hidden person (you know when you don't know who sent you it).

-check yo email girl if u dont reply in 5 ur in 4 it-

That was a bit of a demanding message, so I dropped my pencil (yeah, I was doing homework when I got the text. Got a problem with that?) and opened up my laptop. I typed in the password, qwerty. It was like that cos I had a thing with remembering stuff - it just slips outta my head. When I opened my email, I couldn't believe my LUCK. I had an email from Lee!!! Oh my god, oh my god! I'm going to faint. He's the most popular guy ever, and I had a crush on him. I just couldn't wait to find out what he wrote.

My heart stopped as I read it.

-Send this to five other people and your crush will kiss you by the end of the week. If you don't, your crush will fall for your best friend. Lee, kiss kiss.-

Kiss kiss? Did he mean something, or was it just part of his signature? I didn't want everything to go wrong, so I sent it to my best friend Mia, just so that Liam wouldn't fall for her. Anyway, she fancied Ryan, who was nowhere near as popular as Lee. If Lee was at level one, me and Mia would be at two then Ryan at three. Mia says he's adorable and always smiles at her and stuff, and it's true, but he's not for me. Then I sent it to Bethany, Sofie, Kate and Damien. He's not my boyfriend - just a friend who happens to be a boy. And anyway, I'm just waiting for Lee to ask me out ♥

The Next Morning

I woke up with a start, realising it was Friday *...the end of the week.*

It was the end of the week!!!! Yay!!!!!

After all my morning stuff that I had to do, I shoved my school uniform on and sprinted out the door - whoops, I forgot to close it. I went back and closed it, then hopped onto a bus and extracted my phone from my pocket. I inserted my earphones into my ears and began listening to some decent music when I received another text, from the same person as before.

-u better hav done it or ur really gon get it meet me at half 3 @ 3/4 GROW, 3/5 UNDER, 1/3 SIT. hope u crack the code-

Okay, I had no idea what the code was, but I remember that similar one. Lee was sooo clever to think of it like that! I'm soooo lucky I'm gonna date him!

Question: What is 3/7 CHICKEN, 2/3 CAT, 1/2 Goat?

Answer: Chicago.

I got it! Grow has 4 letters, and 3 of them are GRO

Under, 5 letters, the first 3 are UND

Sit, 3 letters, the first 1 is S

GROUNDS? But where in the grounds? It looked like I was gonna have to do some exploring.

The day had been long, but finally it was time.

I waited on the GROUNDS but no one was there. Just as I was about to give up, someone rested their hand on my shoulder. I looked up and found it was LEE!!!! Oh my god! He was smiling down at me as if we'd known each other for ages. My heart was pounding and I was trying not to sweat all over him. What do I say?

"Hi!" was all I managed. He took my hand and held it; it felt beautiful.

"Um, the reason I asked you to meet me here was because I need to ask you something," he said with a cute smile that made him look sooo hot. As people were coming out of their classes to go home, they were gaping at the sight of me and him.

"OK," I gushed. This was my chance to prove I could date him. "Start off with my question! Do I look good today?"

"You look original," Lee replied genuinely. I blushed and squeezed his hand.

"What I really wanted to ask you is," he began with a grin, "do you think Melissa would go out with me?"
