Sunny Day

I am a spot on a daisy

Floating and fluttering

The wind carries me off

I wander through the skies

A desert of roses and wheat

Which is where I find you

Amidst the desert's heat

Trapped in this cocoon

A simple spot I remain

Now upon your cheek

You might see me soon

Or perhaps I wander again

The wind does know me well

Be it fated or random swell

I go where I am needed

Only when I'm gone do you see

That spotted cheek now barren

A desert all its own now

A desert that robbed you of me
