I am a spot on a daisy
Floating and fluttering
The wind carries me off
I wander through the skies
A desert of roses and wheat
Which is where I find you
Amidst the desert's heat
Trapped in this cocoon
A simple spot I remain
Now upon your cheek
You might see me soon
Or perhaps I wander again
The wind does know me well
Be it fated or random swell
I go where I am needed
Only when I'm gone do you see
That spotted cheek now barren
A desert all its own now
A desert that robbed you of me
