I went home after a long day
Corridor unto itself
I see the reflection down the hall
The beast within mine eye
The soulless wanderer

Anchors of impossible merit
I buried my brother today

of an endless horizon.
Alas this day, longest yet
Corridor unto itself
I wander these halls to the door
That bears my burden.
I turn, see the reflection down the hall
Once more it chases me
Once more I elude its message.
The beast within my eye
Won't take me just yet
