Leigh Karina's POV

"Good morning, Leigh"

Napatingin ako sa relo ko "Dapat hindi ka na dumating" sabi ko at pinapasok sya

"Daddy!"

Sinarado ko ang pinto at dumiretsyo sa kusina. I prepare Kaizer's lunch box and put his favorite sandwich there and milk

"Mommy, akin na po yung lunch box ko. Baka po malate kami ni Daddy"

I kissed his forehead "Be a good boy, baby"

He kissed my lips "Okay po, Mommy. I love you"

Binigay ko kay Darwin ang lunch box ni Kaizer "Sunduin mo sya mamaya, samahan mo hanggang makauwi ako"

"Mommy, don't be so strict to Daddy. Alam nya po yun"

Nakipagtalo nanaman sakin "Sige na, alis na nga kayo"

"See you, Mommy"

Nagwave ako at hinatid sila hanggang pinto

"Ihahatid ba kita?"

"Kaya ko mag-drive, baka kailangan ka na sa trabaho mo. See you, baby"

"Okay po, Mommy"

Umalis na sila kaya dumiretsyo na ako sa taas para magbihis

Simula mawala si Dad, ako na ang naghandle ng Company. Nandito sa Metro Manila ang Main Branch kaya nandito kami ngayon

-12:00 PM-

"Ma'am Leigh, nandito po si Sir Darwin"

"Anong ginagawa nya dito?" takang tanong ko kay Hannah

"Hindi ko po naitanong eh"

Tumango nalang ako at pumasok sa office

"Hi Leigh" bati sakin ni Ace

"What are you doing here?" takang tanong ko at umupo sa chair

"Si Boss, pinapunta kami" sagot ni Darwin

"Para saan? Hindi ko naman hiningi ang serbisyo nyo ah"

"Hindi dun, mag-iinvest sya" sabi ni Ace

"Bakit hindi sya mismo pumunta dito? He can set an appointment if he want"

"Eh kasi nga susungitan mo lang sya kaya in behalf of Andromeda's Group of Company----"

"Whatever, present that in the board first bago ko pirmahan yan"

Pinindot ko ang intercom

"And please, don't bother me. Set an appointment"

"Yes, Ma'am Leigh?"

"The payroll, pipirmahan ko pa yun"

"Nasa Manager's Office pa po eh, chine-check pa" sabi ni Hannah

"Okay, maglunch ka na. Thank you, Hannah"

"Thank you din po, Ma'am"

Lumabas na sya kaya tinignan ko yung dalawa "Hindi pa kayo aalis?"

Ace smiled at me "Sabay ka na samin mag-lunch"

"Nagpadeliver na ako, no need"

"Ang daya mo, Leigh. Hindi ka na nakikisama sa bonding namin"

"Ace, some other time. Busy ako"

"Promise yan ah?"

Tumango ako

*kring kring*

"Excuse me"

I answered the call

(Ma'am, nandito na po yung pinadeliver nyo. Ipapa-akyat ko nalang po sa receptionist)

"Yes, Kuya Guard. Thank you"

(Okay po, Ma'am)

I ended the call 

"Sibat na kami, Leigh"

I nodded my head "See you, I'll call you if I have a free time"

"Aasahan ko yan" sabi ni Ace

"See you, Leigh" sabi ni Darwin

I continue checking the reports until they came out

Sumandal ako sa upuan at napabuntong hininga

6 years ago, we're lovers. After 6 years, we broke up

"Will you marry me?"

A tear escape in my eye and nod my head

"Yes?"

Ngumiti ako at tumango

"Yes!"

He put the ring into my finger and kissed me "I love you, Leigh"

-AFTER 2 YEARS-

I slapped him for the last time "Sapat na yung nakita ko, ang kapal ng mukha mo"

"Let me explain----"

I cut him off "No. Don't even think of coming near me, Darwin"

"That's just one mistake, Leigh"

"Leave, Darwin"

"Leigh, please. Huwag ganito"

"May karapatan ka sa anak mo pero hanggang dun lang yun. I'll send you the annulment papers tomorrow"

"Leigh, please...."

"Leave, Darwin"

"I'm sorry, Leigh" he said and kissed my cheek before he go

Hindi nya pinirmahan ang annulment papers because he believed that our relationship still have hope. After what I saw, 2 years ago. I don't know if I can forgive him

Masyadong masakit ang ginawa nya sakin 

I have trust issues, my Mom left me and Dad for his lover. Nakipag-divorce sya kay Dad and my father was broken. He was drunk every night and sometimes, hindi sya umuuwi. I am 16 years old when that incident happened

Old enough to understand, what's happening in my surroundings

I know everything that happens to my Mom and Dad when they separated. I never trust everybody after that, some of my so called friends betrayed me and no one left. They just use me because of my father's wealth

And Darwin Green broke my trust 2 years ago

That's the first and last time that I trusted people, akala ko kasi hindi nya ako wawasakin pero totoo pala na maraming namamatay sa maling akala
