Afrah's POV

I was in a beautiful garden with lantern lights surrounding the place,beautiful grass surrounding the place with sadeeq by my side, walking between the grasses, the stars are lightening the sky,the trees are blowing a wonderful breeze.

We walked side by side to the bride till we got to the middle he walked to steps ahead of me and gave me his hand, I smiled and was about to give him my hand before the bridge parted into two, I panicked but he quickly jumped and we were on the same side.

Everything disappeared with only long deadly trees with skulls and skeletons sorrounding everywhere and blood shed everywhere.he became a monster,he looked deadly and started following me.

I cried and shouted for help,but he kept following me then he disappeared and out of nowhere, I heard a voice saying:follow my direction.

I was lost because the voice was everywhere and i was confused and the tears started flowing, I ran towards east and I fell into an ocean with the monster following me. The voice came back again and said "cross the river and live or drown".

As I walked the water kept rising to my body till it raised up to my chest and I just got to the middle but I kept walking due to the fear of the monster following me. I started drowning as soon as I was almost to the bank.

I gasped for help and the monster came back to me and tried to rape me by now I was profusely crying and begging him to stop.

Just then I was being hugged and being tapped to wake up. I woke up and saw hanan hugging me saying soothing words to my ear. I kept crying till when I noticed some people. They are men. Are they trying to rape me too?
I just didn't know when I shouted at them and told them to get out. They look terrified but left immediately.

Just then the doctor came in and injected me with something and darkened consumed me again.

I squinted my eyes to adjust to the fluorescent lights. I winced trying to sit which got the attention of the people in the room.

Just then ya tee came and engulfed me in a hug crying and thanking God at the same time. I hugged her back and cried too. Wait!! Why is she here?

She pulled back and wiped my tears

"Am sorry afrah I wasn't here am sorry but now am here and I will make sure you get justice" she said in one breath.

"Ya tee am fine I just feel weak and my body hurts".

"Don't worry you will soon be fine lulu" she said smirking.

"Oh cmon not with the name again" I said groaning.

"Oh you will always be my lulu no matter what" well the thing is I got this name when I was 13 cos I was very lazy, hajiya kaka started calling me lusara meaning lazy so when ya tee heard she started calling me lulu saying I will always be her baby sister lazy lulu.

"Am hungry" I said rubbing my stomach.

"What do you want to eat"

"Oxtail peppersoup"

"Keh do you think we are in naija be wai when you decided to school here do you think that you will find something like this here" she started ranting.

"Madam calm down it seems like this pregnancy is making you very very angry there is a Nigerian restaurant just down the road I think we can get some there".

"Fine let them Mimi come and don't you dare talk bad about my baby" she said rubbing her stomach.

"Ohk but where is ammiey" I asked

"Well she doesn't know and we will like to keep it like that because of her blood pressure". I nodded

"But where are the kids" I asked

"They are with their grandma cos I told ammiey me and al Amin are going on a trip".

"And when's your due date"

"On the 15th of May" she said rubbing her tummy again.

"I pray it's a girl to make ya madu's dream come true cos those boys are torturing his life I pray his princess comes".

"Hey don't talk like that about my boys they are so wonderful".

"Those ones that will disturb your life are you sure they won't kill a soul before you go back" And she hit me on my back, I laughed.

We kept talking about life and for a moment I forgot my problems till Mimi,hanan,kauthar,Naomi, Clara and ya adil came in.

We had another session of hugs and how are you feeling before hanan went to get my oxtail.

I talked to ya k before she promised not to take the next flight here. I also talked to nawal and nae'el before they promised not to tell ammiey anything.

Hanan bright my oxtail with fresh bread and I dug in. after I finished they packed everything and I talked to ya ifrah with her blushing and all when I talk about ya adil.

I prayed while sitting down and a knock came through the door.

It was Zayd and Adnan that came in. They exchanged pleasantries with ya tee and the rest before they greeted me. It was awkward because of what happened but I masked it off.

"Hello afrah how are you?" Adnan asked

"Am fine" I replied.

"How are you feeling" zayd asked. I nodded.

  After 15 minutes of awkwardness i spoke up "listen adnan zayd am sorry about how i acted earlier i was in shock and most especially zayd am sorry for not listening to you i didnt know he was going to do that i trusted him and he broke my trust and I promise never to fall in love again because i have been hurt again" i said in tears remembering the painfully memories clutching my chest.

Ya tee came and hugged me and he spoke "oh no dont blame yourself because it was my fault for not protecting you from that jerk" he said clenched his fists.

"No am sorry please how can i make it up to you" i said pleadingly.

"Theres only one way"

"Tell me and i promise i will try my best to do it"

"Your sickness requires my help and if you promise to let me help you i can forgive you and if you promise not to harm yourself because of that jerk".
He said.

"But why am perfectly normal can't you see,ya tee tell them wasn't I just laughing with you minutes ago?".

"Listen Farah it's not like that you need help because you can get into depression if not treated quickly". Ya adil said

"Look am fine or are you trying to call me mad"

"No but that jerk has left a wound on you and if not healed will never leave" Adnan said

"But am fine and I don't need anyone's help or else none of you will like it here"

"But........"

"No buts adil just leave her alone we will do as she wishes" zayd said
