Could you tell us a little more about yourself?
My name is Missy. I'm 48 and a stay at home mom. I live in the US.

When did you start writing for the SOA fandom?
I started writing SOA fan fiction probably over a year ago. I think the fandom is interesting to write for because there are so many different characters to dive into.

Who's your favorite character to write/read about?
I write a lot of Happy Lowman but I think my favorite character to write is Tig Trager. He's just such a layered character that you never get bored.

What do you like most about writing?
I like writing because it allows me to dive into a different world and hang out for a while.

What is your biggest struggle during writing?
My biggest struggle during writing is that I get new ideas and I have to struggle not to run with them lol.

What is your favorite work and why?
The Past Repeats is probably my favorite work. It was my first attempt at Opie and if I'm not mistaken, it was my first SOA fanfic. It's part of my first series, and it's a very solid book, with the series or without it.

What is your favorite SOA fanfic written by someone else?
My favorite SOA fanfic from another writer is honestly anything OnceQwerty writes. She's phenomenal and it would be impossible to pick just one of her works.

What are you looking for while reading a fanfic?
When reading someone else's work, I have to be engaged. It has to hit a chord in me somewhere, make me want to know what happens next. I love it when a writer can be experimental with the fandom while still keeping it realistic.

What advice would you give a starting author?
Advice for starting authors. Wow, okay. First off, if you're writing on a pc, I highly encourage you to download Grammarly. It will save you an amazing amount of time checking your grammar and punctuation. Speaking of those, make sure that your grammar and punctuation is good. Make sure that your sentence structure makes sense. I personally won't read a story that I have to wade through because I have to mentally correct spelling. Make sure that your POV is clear. I write in third person and love it, but not everyone does, so if you're writing the first-person perspective, please make sure that your reader knows who is talking. Really, at the end of the day, it's about having fun and enjoying what you're doing. Write first for yourself, then for your reader. If you would read it and enjoy it, then chances are, a lot of other people will too.

What other fandoms can one find on your profile or do you plan to write about in the future?
I started out writing Tom Hiddleston fan fiction, so all of those stories are still posted. There's also some Loki fan fiction and some Walking Dead.
