Could you tell us a little more about yourself?
Hi! My name is Jess, I'm an 18 year old Canadian in my first year of college. When did you start writing for the SOA fandom?
I started to write in the SOA fandom when i was 15, of course i knew nothing about the world or how to write proper characters or anything. The SOA fandom is so diversity and inclusive, so many different story lines for characters that work perfectly for both characters and their love interest.Who's your favorite character to write/read about?
My favourite character to write has to be either Opie or Happy so far. Of course all characters have their own touch that i'm never going to 100% at learning them no matter how often I watch the show, I love putting my own tiny twist onto characters, yet still sticking to what the characters are.
What do you like most about writing?
I adore being able to write for one of my friends, who has been watching me grow and develop as a writer, which has been amazing to have support when i'm writing my chapters. She has been pushing me to create more and write a great story line that i love and i'm excited to publish. What is your biggest struggle during writing?
My biggest struggle while writing is having these massive writing blocks that last weeks to months, i hate letting people think i left my work to die out when in the background I am trying to write these perfect. What is your favorite work and why?
I currently only have one Sons of Anarchy work, which I hope to make another book soon in the next coming months. Though until then, I have my beautiful book since it all started, The Teller That Ran (or TTTR for short). It follows the story of Kameron Teller, the sister of Jax Teller, the best friend of Happy Lowman and the mother of Addison Teller. In short, she moves back to be with her family after her ex-boyfriend, a member of the sons of anarchy up north, poses a threat to both her daughter and herself. A second restart of her life essentially. Going back to Charming could bring up the past with previous Sons of Anarchy member, her family and friends. What is your favorite SOA fanfic written by someone else?
I honestly love so many SOA fan fictions that i can't even pick one that is my favourite, they are all special in their own way. I struggle choosing just one story has has their own great thing to it.What are you looking for while reading a fanfic?
I look for a fanfic that doesn't suddenly changes their look on a character, i look for reasoning, either small or large reasons. I look for a book that follows a strong path, which can be changed during conversation or events that happen. What advice would you give a starting author?
Always -- ALWAYS keep an open eye for anything in real life to use inside of your story. Simple things such as a text from a friend or even an even that had occurred during your day that you be added into a story to help create an environment. What other fandoms can one find on your profile or do you plan to write about in the future?
Currently, I am in the production of re-writing what I hadn't published of my shameless fanfiction, I am working on two Animal Kingdom fanfictions, I am planning a second sons of anarchy book and continuing my "The Teller That Ran" story and eventually creating that into a larger series in the future.
