Could you tell us a little more about yourself?
Sarah Grace, 18, Australia.

When did you start writing for the SOA fandom?
I started writing for the SOA fandom at the beginning of this year (2019) after I binged watched the entire series for the first time. What I find interesting about this fandom is its intertwining stories, romantic idealism of brotherhood and loyalty, and of course, hot dudes on Harleys.

Who's your favorite character to write/read about?
My favourite character to read about is Happy or Jax or Chibs, mostly Happy by the very talented authors who really manage to peel back every layer there is to such a complex character, whilst adding their own spin on things and it makes for an interesting read.

What do you like most about writing?
I absolutely love writing. I like to read and can be just swept away into another world entirely and it'll take a few tries of someone yelling my name to get out of it. So writing has enthralled me to do the same. Besides, I'll think up of a storyline and it's like a spark, from there it burns and causes a raging fire that starts out with a simple storyline, beginning, sometimes an ending and then there'll be a whole story in my head so it's just got to come out.

What is your biggest struggle during writing?
My biggest struggle would be a toss-up between figuring out in the middle how a character develops and gets from one place to another in their storyline, and remembering little details that add up to whole plotline.

What is your favorite work and why?
I'm guessing this is asking what my favourite SOA fanfic is, otherwise, the Harry Potter fanfics would win out, however, 'Angel Amongst the Reapers' is the only SOA fanfic I have written so far. It's about Jax Teller and the love of his life getting together after thirteen years of being apart, the story of how they came to be together, what split them apart and how they came back to each other and then the rest of the story is what they plan on doing to the people who tried to keep them apart, ruined their lives and how they're actually going to stay together in their crazy world of both being in a motorcycle club and raising three kids

What is your favorite SOA fanfic written by someone else?
I can't actually remember the name of the amazing story about Jax Teller, and once I've read them I don't reread or keep, unfortunately.

What are you looking for while reading a fanfic?
This may seem harsh, but authors who don't know basic punctuation and how to set out words in the simplest of ways to make it easy for someone to read, then I don't care how good your story is if I'm struggling to distinguish when a sentence ends and starts, speech bubbles, having to reread something because I'm confused because punctuation wasn't right, then I'm not going to read it. That's the main thing. I've read countless stories where I've looked at the first page and just removed the book from my library because there's no way I'm going to be able to read it. And I understand that some people write in english as their second or third language but still.

What advice would you give a starting author?
I'm not going to tell an author how to write, because everyone's different but at the same time, write everything down, write all the small details down somewhere and make a story from there or write them as you go because otherwise you might forget. Expand vocabulary, try not to reuse the same words throughout your book unless you're trying to emphasise something. Have some sort of plan, it can definitely be flexible, but start somewhere if you don't know where to start.

What other fandoms can one find on your profile or do you plan to write about in the future?
You'll find Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Teen Wolf, Marvel. I plan on writing a whole heap more, starting with a Black Sails fanfic, Fast and Furious, Twilight (Volturi), King Arthur, Legend, Maze Runner, maybe TVD/Originals, there's going to be a Narnian one in there, as well as a secondary HP series and a secondary SOA about my OC Casandra's life after Jax's death.
