SVU Shooting Day 1

The rest of the Thanksgiving weekend was very good with Chris. You hated to see it end but you we're excited to get to work with Raúl Esparza on SVU. You loved his work on Broadway and when he was a series regular on the show. You were also interested to see the conflict between your characters and peter's.

Raúl: hello you must be y/n? I'm Raúl
Y/n: yes that's me. I'm a huge fan Raúl. It's nice to meet you.
Raúl: why thank you. Are you excited about the new branch of storyline for the characters?
Y/n: yes I am. I think it will be very entertaining and thrilling to see a young detective in a "love triangle" with two different characters that happen to be older than her. How do you feel about Barba coming back and to be involved with a younger woman?
Raúl: I think it's very interesting. Especially since him and Carisi were such good friends it will be interesting to see that dynamic change. Plus he doesn't hurt that your a beauty.
Y/n: why thank you. I'm pretty sure my SVU fangirl heart just burst. Haha. I can't believe I just said that out loud.
Raúl: it's totally fine. I find it amusing that you were a fan girl of the show and now your on it.
Y/n: yea just imagine what I felt like when I got the part haha.

*while you two chatted Peter came over and saw you two*
Peter: hey guys I see you have met.
Raúl: yes we were just discussing the fact that y/n here is a Barba and Amaro fangirl. Isn't that funny.
Peter: yea it is.
Y/n: we really don't have to discuss it anymore. Peter is well aware. I make him watch reruns with me all the time.
Raúl: is that right? What's your favorite episode or Barba moment?
Y/n: probably either when he uses the belt in the courtroom or when the detectives joke with him about his yacht outfit.  But the suspenders are what really get me. And his delivery style in the courtroom.
Peter: wow y/n how would Chris react if he heard you talking about Barba's suspenders like that?
Y/n: he's aware of my attraction to formal wear. Trust me. Plus he doesn't care. It's not like it would ever happen. Barba is not a real person. Plus Chris is not the jealous type.
Raúl: who's Chris? And thanks for liking the suspenders.
Y/n: you're welcome. And Chris is my boyfriend. Chris Evans. You know Captain America. We started dating a couple of weeks ago.
Raúl: you have more in common with your character than I thought. Haha
Y/n: I suppose but what do you mean
Raúl: well you both are strong willed. You both are best friends with a male. And you both tend to like older guys.
Y/n: I guess you could say that. My ex before Chris was 13 years older than me. And Chris is 15 years older than me. And Carisi is between those two gaps with my character. Is that a problem?
Raúl: no. Not at all. It's actually very interesting.
Peter: ok. Well I'm going to go set up for the first scene.
Raúl and you: ok.
