Start Of Something New

Selena sat in her living room and it was very silent. She was still trying to figure out everything that had just occurred not even an hour ago. So much pain....so much hurt....so much confusion yet so much anger. She was knocked out of her thoughts when there was a knock on the door. She let out a sigh knowing who it was, she then made her way to the door and opened it. There stood her boyfriend Justin....as soon as she saw him the memories came crashing into her brain.

------ Flashback, 30 minutes prior------

Selena was driving over to Justins house with a huge smile on her face. She hadn't seen him in a few weeks because he was touring and visiting family, she missed him so much and would be glad to see him again. Once she arrived she got out of the car and made her way inside, they had been together long enough for her to have her own key which was nice. She saw his shoes by the door so she knew he was here, she made her way upstairs but froze when she heard giggling. Her heart began to sink as she kept moving forward and as she pushed open his bedroom door, her heart completely dropped to the door.

There in bed lay a half naked Justin and her best friend Luna. The two had yet to notice Selena but then Luna looked up and gasped. "Sel" She said before pushing Justin away, Justin quickly looked at the door before making his way out the bed. "Sel baby, let me explain" Justin said but Selena just turned around and rushed back out the house. She could hear Justin calling for her but she refused to turn out. Once she got into her car she locked it quickly, started the car and sped off. Luckily her phone had the Bluetooth set up, Once she was at a stop light she quickly hit a few buttons on her phone to call her brother Stephen. Stephen was an amazing big brother, not too over bearing but would beat someone a** for his little sister.

"hey sis what's up, I can only talk for a little bit because I have a meeting with the team soon" Stephen said, Stephen played football for the Carolina Panthers. Got drafted straight out of college at age 22, he worked hard for everything he had and Selena was proud of him. "I....He" Selena said before sniffling, tears pooling in her eyes as she tried to get the words out. She heard Stephen excuse himself out of a room. "What happened? What did Justin do" he said sternly, she could tell he was mad. "He cheated on me....with Luna" She said quietly with a slighly shaky voice.

"WHAT?!? Are you kidding me...." Stephen said with shock and anger. Selena shook her head before speaking again "no. I'm driving home now, I walked in on them in his bed and...and....I couldn't face them" she said sniffling. Stephen let out a sigh....he wanted to kill that boy for hurting his sis. "I'm so sorry sis. I'll come visit within the next couple of days but I'll call you again later. I'm sorry I can't be there any sooner but we have a game soon". He said sadly but Selena just smiled a bit, she knew he was making an effort. "I know Stephen and it's ok. Get here whenever you can" She said and he said he would. They said their i love you's and goodbyes as she pulled into her driveway.

She made her way inside, her mind blank. She didn't know what to think but she was upset....she knew that much. She then heard her phone ding. She saw 2 two texts, 1 from Justin and the other from Luna. Luna's text basically said she was so sorry and didn't mean for her to find out this way, Selena just shook her head before opening Justin's text. He asked if he could come over so they could talk things out, part of her wanted to say no and tell him go to hell but she ended up saying yes. She needed to know why....why did he do this to her?

Selena looked at him with so much pain in her eyes. So much hurt and confusion, he felt no shame as to what he had done to her. Her boyfriend sat in a chair, she could hear his foot tapping and her heart beating at the same time. He was sitting at the dinning room table and she stood, she stood at the other side of the table getting as far away from him as she could.
