He opened the door to see Brandon's mother standing there. She didn't have any fancy clothes on.
"Uh Mrs. Lebay why aren't you…"
She tilted her head to the left.
"In a dress"
He nodded.
"Oh that's easy I'm not going… John is though"
"Why not"
She simply shrugged.
"Just want some alone time" she leaned in.
"And I want Brandon to suffer" he laughed upon seeing the blonde in the car with a sour expression. His blue dress jacket looking tight and uncomfortable.
"He sassed to much so he can suffer" the nonchalance in her voice sent a slight chill to his spine. Gammie pushed him slightly, almost throwing him out of the house.
"Ahh Gammie hold up" he spun around and grabbed her into a hug. Letting go he then followed Brandon's mother to the car.
"Lily I think someone's contemplating murder" she stopped and gazed into the back seat. Her son sat there with the same sour expression.
"Brandon sweetie please wait until after the party to murder someone"
He said nothing.
"Thank you dear
The car ride was slightly longer then he had hoped. Staring out the window he began to count the the little details in his mind as they drove.
4 fire hydrants.
3 stop signs.
2 pylons
1 parking lot
They pulled into it. The car stopped with a slight jerk, they opened the doors and climbed out. John was fixing his shirt and Brandon was growling.
"Mom…"
"Yes dear"
"I'm taking this off"
She turned to him, an unimpressed look on her face.
"No, remember what we agreed" he thought for a moment, then outwardly groaned upon realizing.
"If I keep the coat on the whole night, I can stay out of a weeks grounding for sassing to much" she smiled and pecked him on the forehead.
"That's right, that's why your father's going" Wyatt felt himself laugh.
John looked at his watch eyes growing slightly wider he gained the others attention.
"Lily we need to go in"
Lily shot up to her feet and kissed her husband goodbye, waving to the boys she hoped into the car and drove off.
"Well, you boys ready to go in"
Brandon groaned once more before he followed his dad towards the building. Wyatt trailed behind.
The blonde slowed a bit to let him catchup.
"So… you gonna tell him" a sly look.
Wyatt turned to his friend looking unimpressed.
"Quit joking you"
The gadget guy put his hands in front of him.
"Oh, no. I'm, being 100% serious"
Now he was confused.
"What do you mean"
The boy tapped his nose and pointed to him.
"I know, that you know, that I know that you want to tell him. Get it over and done with"
He blinked.
