They had reached a large wooden door, security guards at each.
John flashed a pass and they entered.
The foyer was decked out in lavish blues, whites and silvers. There were half hight pillars along the walls each had a silver vase with white and blue flowers in it. The carpet was a deep shade of navy blue the kind that looked good in pictures. He took in every inch of it breathlessly, even though he had been there multiple times.
"Wyatt I thought your uncle hated the colour blue" the blonde began to bare a quizzical look as he noticed his father had disappeared. Wyatt shrugged and continued walking the heavy feeling on his shoulders remaining present.
"He probably wants the place to look photogenic" the blonde kept the same awkward look.
"Didn't know he was so into that silver crap" in all honesty neither did he, he preferred gold to silver personally it symbolized victory and wealth in some way, besides it sparkles and it's pretty.
"I think he settles with second place" both boys laugh.
"Nice blazer Brand-oh"
Said boy jumped three feet back in a shriek, only to immediately regain his posture. Laura stood wearing a light blue summer dress accompanied with a white tulle shawl, her blue flats had bits of gold glitter at the toes.
"Aaaauhum, h-hi Laura… nice dress" she smiled a sweet cheerful smile.
"Thanks, it was my mom's"
The blonde turned a light shade of red. Wyatt chuckled, the blue teen had always been hypocritical when it came to romantic feelings.
"Better out than in Brandon"
He started choking on air.
"Shut up you"
The southerner laughed. His attention directing towards Laura momentarily after. His smile faded and his shoulders slumped.
"Ms. Lawrence"
She wore the same expression.
"Mr. East"
Words flew between their glares, words turned to sentences, sentences turned to paragraphs, paragraphs turned to chapters, chapters turned to books, books turned to-
"Can you guys not fight it's a party after all"
They both turned their heads.
