The zoo is called 'The San Francisco Zoo' which obviously means I live there. I live a couple miles up from the zoo. It's a good walking distance but I prefer my bike. Mostly because I takes too long to walk. On my way to the zoo I stopped at the docks and stared out in to the distance where you can see just a glimpse of the boats arriving from all over the world bringing all sorts of goods. I remember that when I was little I used to journey out on my dad's boat with him and we'd try to guess where they came from. I
usually won. My dad left for the navy when is was just 11. Three years has passed and I've only seen him 3 times since last Christmas, but besides that me and my mom have been doing ok. Mom and dad owns a Cafe called 'K and W' after my mom(Katherine or Kate) and my dad (William or Will). They bought it when my mom was still pregnant with me and they didn't have a name picked out yet so they named it after them. As a kid I was never that talkative growing up and I didn't make many friends, but I did have one friend her name is Emma Haris. We meet when we were 7 and growing up together made life a whole lot easier, and she is the total opposite of me. She has blond hair and dark blue eyes and is super outgoing. Me on the other hand is not outgoing has brown hair and light brown eyes, but opposites attract. We go to 'Salt Water high' as freshmen. It's called that because it's literally on the beach. As I left the docks that morning on my way to the zoo I saw Emma with the cheer squad at my moms cafe. Emma and I aren't the most popular girls at school but she will talk to anyone when I'm not around. I quickly road away before they saw me. When I got to the zoo I saw everyone with a red, blue, green, purple, yellow, and any color balloon you could think of. It was a Saturday and on Saturdays the balloon man gives free balloons to every little kid, but today was special today I had gotten something I hadn't gotten in several years today I got a balloon.
